I needed antibiotic IV treatment from Friday until Tuesday over the August long weekend. The emergency department was slammed with ambulances & folks coming in needing urgent help. Sitting and watching the staff work through the full waiting rooms was really admirable. The doctors and nurses deserve all the credit in the world! They also deserve more understanding and empathy from patients in my opinion. Great job staff! You should be proud of all you do to help Salmon Arm in emergency situations! Thank you for all your help over the weekend, I truly appreciate it! Keep up the great work!
I have been in emergency and/or wards numerous times as a patient or visitor, over many years and all of the staff have been excellent except two doctors. I was there recently and the place was absolutely full, crazy for staff, but all were pleasant and kind. Salmon Arm hospital has a good reputation o the region. Due to frequency of emergencies I can clearly say that I've had excellent care with the distinct exception of radiologists. In one evening, two different X rays same foot, though request was translated incorrectly, had completely different reports. How can that happen?

The staff at the Salmon Arm Hospital are amazing. From the moment I arrived all the caregivers and other professionals were compassionate and helpful.
After being at Vernon Jubilee hospital in emergency this hospital is by far a hundred steps up have been twice in emergency lately my husband with Tia and me with broken toe the staff there where top notch, we had been in Vernon for four hours in emergency because my husband all of a sudden lost his hearing the doctor there at 12:30 am looked in his ear said there is no wax so you are good to go next day my husband had a minor stroke I took him to Salmon arm they took him in right away and where amazing, I have gone to Vernon a few times nurses have been usually good but so far the doctors we have had don’t seem to check anything Salmon arm is our emergency hospital Thanks to the staff there
