From start to finish, the gentleman that helped me was beyond knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn't recommend any other place than here to buy fresh water shrimp, snails, interesting fish, and crabs. I will absolutely be returning. Prices are fair especially for the service you receive. I highly recommend!

100% Awesome! This store is amazing and the quality of the shrimp are A+++, super healthy and I've fallen in love with these little crustaceans for my tanks. Tommy and Esther are always happy to answer any questions. While my experience has been primarily mail order, shrimp packing and products, has been impeccable. Very wide selection of and colour variations. Very healthy livestock, at fair prices. Most of the shrimp I get are usually breeding within a few weeks, I also purchased 2 assassin snails which have bred as well, 3 or 4 on my count which I will be transferring to another nano once they grow a bit more On top of livestock they also carry plants and supplements, I bought a pot of Bucephalandra which I was having difficulty finding elsewhere, the plant was very healthy. I live 30+ minutes away but will gladly drive to them for any shrimp/invert needs.

Went to shrimp fever not knowing what to expect and I can’t believe how incredible this store is! Every type of shrimp I’ve ever heard of and SO MANY MORE than I even realized existed! Their team was super helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. They answered all my questions as someone new to the shrimp hobby. I was also really excited to see all of their dried botanicals as well since I have quite a few bettas and like to add almond leaves, elder cones etc. To their planted tanks. Anything you’d need to start up a shrimp tank is there and reasonably priced. I ended up leaving with some Bloody Mary shrimps and this gorgeous Koi betta that I couldn’t resist. I will be a return customer for sure.

ShrimpFever is my new favourite fish store. They sell lots of high quality shrimp, fish, snails, plants, and more. We got pumpkin shrimp, red cherries, otocinclus and a variety of plants. All are thriving and healthy! I highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance

These guys mailed me a bunch of Pangio doriae. They all arrived alive and had 0 health issues. No deaths several weeks after buying & no health problems during quarantine. The quality of packing really gave me a lot more confidence to order fish online. Thrilled to have a big shoal of them, will absolutely order from here again if I need to get a not-so-common fish. They were also super patient with my barrage of anxiety riddled questions. Absolutely the best!

I've been shopping at Shrimpfever for two years now, and my neos are totally fine and have basically taken over all my tanks, but honestly the reason I keep coming back is the neat rare nano fish they carry! The fact that their website is always up to date is a huge bonus, too. I've had no issues with quality or health, and the variety of livestock and plants available is absolutely worth the trek from west end for me. I’m all the way in Vancouver and decided to order a platinum white betta from Shrimp Fever. He was shipped when weather was pretty rough, and arrived in -1 weather. Though, he was packaged incredibly well heat packs, well insulated box. Since having him for several weeks now, he’s been doing great. He’s very healthy, and extremely active, almost like he never went through any shipping stress. Also, customer support from the team was fantastic. Thanks, very happy with my betta. Highly recommend, and I no doubt will be ordering again in the future.

The new location is awesome! The selection is so much bigger and full of happy, healthy again, fish, and plants. The employees really know their stuff and are super generous with their time and attention. We've been here a few times, my partner is a huge fan, and we've got nothing but love for shrimp fever!!

Very clean and welcoming place. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. Tommy helped my bf and I choose what's best for our aquarium. He gave us tips and recommendations on how we can keep our aquarium clean and happy. He is a very knowledgeable. I definately recommend this place for any aquarium enthusiast or newbies like us!
