Nice trail, terrible people. Those wooden bridges were pretty narrow, and I was almost knocked over more than once because some people just had to walk side by side and refused to acknowledge that I as a human being needed some space. These people would rather bump into you or seriously squeeze your personal space than lose their precious opportunity to be beside each other. Seriously people, just form a single line on the right hand side and it would be easier for everyone, and I promise whoever was beside you wouldn’t just vanish into thin air. To be honest, I would rather walk around Deer Lake or Burnaby Lake where people are much more respectful, and where trails are wider. It’s interesting to see the tide rush in though check the tide schedule, and the birds, so I would give five stars to the trail itself.
Really nice trail. I’ve found it being marked as a “stroller friendly” one in the app, and was pretty happy that with the proper stroller it’s perfectly fine to go through! Except for few spots with small sets of stairs 3-4/set, which is easily to deal with, if it’s at least two adults going. Also, beautiful for sunset hike!
Enriched with Marvellous beauty of nature this trail has tall oak trees, shrubs, trails all natural, sheds to rest, dog walking place, woodboard pathway linking one side of the Port Coquitlam to port moody. Old orchard park is on port moody side and the shoreline park is the name on the other. Clean fresh air to breath in is the best gift that nature gives us and i had bountiful of it today. Must visit place. Its also called terry fox practice track. Bikes are allowed and easy to ride.
A wonderful trail Always make sure to enjoy a walk there everytime we visit Port Moody. Got to see Bald Eagles Beautiful views. And great to reward oneself after the trail walk at one of the 4 microbreweries across the park on Murray Street
This is a beautiful wooded trail with views of the water. Visiting the area so I took an early morning walk.
Beautiful trail 6.8 kany time of the year. Family/ pets friendly with ocean views. Starts at Rocky Point park. Treat your self with ice cream or a pint at brewery lane right across!
Great relaxing walk and always new nature to view...get ready to walk into bears or bobcat, coyote's and deer
Good place for walking, jogging with your dog. Pay attention on those wooden bridge for some of them have nice carved pictures
Peaceful, perfect for meditation, lots of seats in different locations of the trail, full of songbirds, having a shoreline and much more that you meed to experience it. Reminds me of Oregon trails.
We love this park. Good trails that are pretty well maintained. A little tough to get parking if you're coming a distance, the breweries parking is taking over the park and street. Stay OFF the mudflats it's dangerous!! But a good way to meet Port Moody's finest If everyone could remember to take only photos and leave only footprints that would make this park even better.
