The store itself is fine, but when I went to the center where you exchange your deposit ticket for cash the lady asked if I had a dime so she could give me a different amount. I had asked my friend for a dime, but the lady behind the counter was insanely rude and judgmental and told me I was wasting time by asking for a dime. Why did you ask if I had one then? Why did you ask me to give change to even out the amount and then shame me like that? I left the store very ashamed and embarassed. I know not everyone in new york is super nice, but that just felt weirdly rude and I was almost crying.
It was ok. They really do not have a HUGE selection of frozen foods. Ex. Onion rings- only 1 type to choose. Same with appetizer foods in frozen section. Stony point has everything. It does have a nice bakery but again we are limited with certain choices and brands.
good selection, good prices, clean, lots of self checkout lanes. my preferred grocery store in new city. excellent deli!

This ShopRite has great prices all the time, check out is always a one two three. I love their cleanliness. Always well organized too. Customer service are always will ing to go the extra mile. Parking always available never any problems.
The vegetables were particularly fresh today and they always have what I'm looking for, the meat is always fresh. I'm very satisfied with SR in New City.
Wonderful Shoprite. Usually very well stocked with all needs. Run well, so kudos to the management and the workers are always ready to help you. They even just added some self checkout machines, but let's hope that doesn't mean layoffs
They only had 2 lanes open with cashier's and they were too long, one was for 20 items or less and the other one for the regular buyer's. They also had the self check out ones but those are no good to us since we have a big family and our shopping cart it usually pretty full!!
A bunch of heroes are working at this ShopRite. They work tirelessly to accommodate the shoppers. I travel a lot to Europe and Florida. But, there is no no other supermarket in the world for me like the New City ShopRite. Truly grateful for all the people that work there. They are absolutely the BEST!
The store is very clean and organized. Unfortunately cashiers like Greta are very rude and unhappy with her job. My 11 year old placed a case of water on top of the belt. She was so nasty about it telling him to put it back in the cart because she was not going to lift it. Bad customer service.
