Today was my first time shopping at Shop Rite and it was well worth the trip! The meat section was decent in price and the quality looked very well! Cashier had a personality which is rare nowadays! That being said I will be back soon! The deli was well priced also by the way!
Everything I was after was available, but the line to check out was a bit long. Just another store promoting self check out, not enough cashiers or baggers assigned. When I did get to check out, the cashier was pleasant and friendly, and assisted me with bagging my groceries when she finished ringing me up. A good experience except for the checkout process.
I just moved near by. I love the cleanliness and found everything at great prices and fresh. Very friendly and polite employees. Easy to find isles. Definitely great experience.
Produce is constantly rotten , self checkouts are never able to take cash but can give cash back,self check out employees constantly just stand there on there phones or talking instead of helping customers instead the customer has stand there until they finally get around to doing their job!, after 8pm entrance is closed off which is a FIRE HAZARD,most employees are very rude when not on their phones or having non work related conversations with other employees. This store is in major need of new management! I’ll pay extra and shop across the street from now on seeing as this place obviously cares less about its customers and there business
I know I'm not the only one that can't stand paying 10 cents for bags that cant hold a loaf of bread. The other day I forgot my bags at home so I bought a few bags to hold my groceries. Each bag ripped before I filled each one half way. I said to the cashier this is crazy! She replied everyone complaining. The worst of it all is the bags didn't last the ride home. Some other stores use heavier bags so this doesn't happen so why cant you? You are getting paid for them, why not get a better bag for customers who support your store buy shopping there.
The entry exit concept is atrocious requiring a long walk to one side or the other depending on where you park. While to store was clean and had ample options the self check out is terrible and staff a bit snarky.
My experience has been great. Very sad the West Hartford store closed because it was closer for me. For me it is worth it to go to Enfield now.

I was in there this morning. I was in the express where you check your self out. The person in charge she is never nice. I asked a question it was rudely told to me what I did wrong. It seems every time I come in this store no one seems happy. I use to be a faithful shopper. I was not happy walking out. I know we all have our days.
I've always liked shoprite. It was more expensive than I expected but what can ya do.. .. update: still very expensive. Seeming like there's no sales anymore. Stop and shop has been cheaper
