Called in the evening to ask if the pharmacy did strept throat swabs. They told me yes and I asked if they had them on hand to make sure before sending my husband and kids in as it was 8:30pm. They said yes and the sooner he comes the better. He gets there and they can’t swab him because no prescribing pharmacist on. So frustrating.
I am so thankful for the pharmacist that was working late last night. I walked in, in tears and in a complete panic. I had run out of my medication ... swore I had another packet at home, but discovered I didn't when I went to go take it. Tracee dropped everything she was doing to help me. It is a time sensitive medication and I have never been to this pharmacy before so I really didn't know if they would be able to help me, but my pharmacy was long closed by this hour. Tracee pulled up my information as quickly as possible and made sure I had enough to see me through the night/morning until I could get to my regular pharmacy. She was so kind and warm and I will forever be thankful for her and how she handled the situation.
The women working at the pharmacy are very rude and unpleasant to deal with. At first i thought it might be an isolated incident, but every time we go there they seem to go out of their way to make the interaction difficult and demeaning. I always try to treat everyone with decorum, but will have to call them out next time if it continues. You are in a service role, you work for your customers. I don't expect you to tolerate abuse from customers but it is literally your job to politely assist them with their order- if you cant do this get a different job.
Been going here for years to get prescriptions , almost every time there has been one pharmacist in particular who had always been rude. Spoke to her on the phone so find out why my perception was still waiting to be renewed, this medication i cannot just skip! It will put me in the er if not taken!nnI was told so contact my doctor because sometimes they dont see the fax, i then asked what i could do if i couldn’t see my doctor? As most of us in Alberta know its takes forever to see anyone in the medical field!nI was then just told to see my doctor, like i was completely disregarded. I have no issues with the other employees, however if speaking to people is making your life miserable and you cant give someone the time of day, perhaps consider a different profession . Unfortunately i will not be going back.
So I go to pay my stuff and the teller is helping someone else out there’s three machines being done and she really doesn’t have to help that person out but she is and she’s not bringing me through so I have to wait and then I wait to finally get my own self-serve check out I pay for my two items and then pull the receipt and the receipt comes out and the whole roll comes out and she looks at me like it’s my fault and she gives me the sour lookand I said hey that’s your machine not me. I just pulled on the receipt and the whole role came out so I don’t care what it is, but if I was her boss, I would fire her for that because I’m pissed off.
