Best and nowadays post pandemic, pretty much the only actual 24h store. Thjs shoppers has a lot more to choose from than other locatiins because literally they never close, open christmas, new years, any day 24h 365d. Food choices are limited but if you are hungry itll feed you. Great staff also, and overnight security almost always present. Self checkouts are on point also. Very chill environment after hours.
This Shoppers Drug Mart location is a busy, convenient spot right at Yonge & Finch, open 24 hours a day. It’s easy to reach and close to Finch Station; and offers full accessibility. The store carries everything you’d expect, from prescriptions, over‑the‑counter medicine, beauty products, groceries, and everyday essentials.nnThe pharmacy provides helpful services like blister packaging, flu shots, and other vaccinations, with a pharmacist available around the clock.nnIt’s a great spit for quick errands, late‑night needs, and dependable pharmacy support.
This location is near other restaurants and Finch subway station. Aisles are stocked with varieties of general items such as snacks, health care, cosmetics, meals, drinks, produce, etc. Pharmacy is at the back, refilling prescriptions, picking-up meds, etc. Passport photo taking service is offered. Self-serve checkout counters are operational. Regular cashier counters are open. I have no bad experience so far and continue to go here.
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.nnThis is by far the worst pharmacy location I’ve ever been to—and that includes the staff, especially the pharmacist/owner you know who you are. The level of unprofessionalism I experienced was unbelievable.nnFour days ago, I received a text saying my medication was ready for pickup. I called the day before to confirm—it was ready. I called again on the day I planned to pick it up—again, I was told it was ready. I even spoke directly with the pharmacist/owner, who assured me he would put it on “hold” so it would be available when I arrived.nnWhen I got there, a blonde staff member I didn’t catch her name told me my medication was not ready. She was rude and dismissive. I explained that I had called twice and was told it was ready. Apparently, “hold” meant it had been cancelled. She said this in a tone that implied it was my fault for not knowing their definition of “hold.”nnShe suggested I come back the next day, which I refused since I was already there. Then she told me the wait time would be an hour—later changing it to 30 minutes. I agreed to wait.nnThirty minutes passed. Then an hour. Then an hour and a half—with no updates. When I approached the counter to ask for an update, I was told they were still waiting for the pharmacist and that it would take another 15 minutes. I waited another 30 minutes and noticed the pharmacist assisting customers who had arrived after me.nnAround 8:12 PM I had been there since 6:30 PM, I received a text saying my medication was ready for pickup. I assumed it was automated since they knew I was physically there waiting. Ten minutes later, the pharmacist was casually sipping his drink and no one informed me that my prescription was ready. When I went up to ask again, I was told it had been ready since I received the text. If I hadn’t approached the counter, no one would have told me.nnIt genuinely felt like the pharmacist was avoiding me because he knew this entire situation was their mistake.nnI didn’t create a scene—that’s not who I am—but the level of frustration I felt is hard to put into words. Not once did anyone apologize or offer an explanation. If the situation had been handled with even a simple apology and accountability, I would have been more understanding. Instead, I was met with rudeness and indifference.nnIf this is how business is managed, might as well close down.nnP.S. Please don’t bother sending a generic apology—I know it won’t be sincere. It’ll just be another copy-and-paste response. Very original.
I had the best experience with Amanda from the pharmacy section. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly went above and beyond to assist me. She took the time to answer all my questions, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt confident about what I needed. Her customer service was exceptional, and I genuinely appreciate her care and professionalism.
