Went to the pharmacy to fill and pick up a prescription and the workers were so kind, respectful, and caring, they took time to go over each medication, answer all questions, were sympathetic regarding the circumstance and they were timely! We also checked out the store and it had such a variety of things to look at! Much better stocked than the ones in Abbotsford. It was very clean and organized there. We really appreciate everyone who helped us and all the workers who were keeping the place so clean and stocked:
Been my local shoppers for years, great store, great beauty department, I get all my cologne here.. all the staff is lovely.. However I cannot say the same for pharmacy department. New owner has completely changed the business, not a good face for Shoppers drug mart. Almost all the pharmacy staff has a poor attitude and verbally abuse customers/kick them out. I feel poorly for the middle aged male pharmacist who often looks helpless with the way his fellow staff treat customers. I’ve witnessed him trying to fix up their mistakes and beg customers back..Many of my friends already started boycotting this Shoppers location and tonight was my final straw. After watching a lady who i believe to be the OWNER in no uniform or name tag not only freak out over the phone to someone -a customer i would assume. but also yell at her staff.. she then proceeded to talk so rude and condescending to an elderly man. All within 30 minutes of me shopping the aisles. I’ve had enough and I’ll be letting all my friends and family know to not support a store with a department like this.
This is one of the worst pharmacies. They always make mistakes and then do not take accountability, making excuses. It’s been 3 times now that they don’t have a prescription ready within the time they say, even though I gave them extra time to fill it. This time they don’t even have any record of the prescription that I had filled the day before. The only reason I go to them is because they have longer hours than most pharmacies, but I think I’m just going to switch for good.
I went here a few days ago looking for a specfic Canadian cleanser and moisturizer...It looked to out of stock i noticed a woman beside me with a hand cart for shipping i thought she was a patron. I looked at the beauty counter there was noone...after 25 minutes of chatting to my husband and feeling lostand telling him i was frustrated by the lack of service .the wiman petks up and identifies herself as staff. She was not friendly not helpful and just annoyed she had to help out.nWill shoponline for my priducts from now on ...its easier and the computer doesnt gibe me an attitude.nThis is why stores struggle to sell and retain customers..it was a sad experience
My Wife and I have been regular customers at this Shoppers Drug Mart for years, but from what I’ve gathered from talking to others in our community or seeing other reviews on Facebook. It seems ever since the current pharmacy owner took over, the entire environment has changed and not for the better. She is consistently rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional, not just with customers but with her own staff. I’ve personally witnessed her speaking down to employees in front of others, which is incredibly uncomfortable and disheartening to see.nWhat’s even more surprising is that she never wears a uniform, setting a poor example for the rest of the team. It’s clear she doesn’t value the professionalism or the community oriented spirit this store once had. The warm, friendly atmosphere that used to define this location is almost gone. Staff morale seems low, and you can feel the tension every time you walk into the pharmacy area.nIt's upsetting to see a once great pharmacy being run into the ground due to one person’s behaviour and lack of leadership. I hope central office takes notice because this Shoppers Drug Mart deserves better..for both its staff and loyal customers.
