I've been a customer of Shoppers on Dunbar for 33 years. In recent months, their pharmacy team has been quite bad. I've heard the same complaint from other customers who have like me moved their prescriptions to London Drugs. On the last occasion, they filled an expensive medication that was supposed to last 4 weeks post surgery. It lasted 8 days, perhaps due to a leaky bottle. They offered me no solution other than waving a small part of the charge for dispensing and filing a complaint to the manufacturer. Their attitude was awful throughout.
OMG...I have been using this Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy for almost 40 years. I am seriously considering changing especially after this evening. On hold with pharmacy for over 20 minutes...calling back after many tries and listening to the awful music playing over and over again. Finally called customer service and they transferred me. Someone picked up and then promptly hung up and I am on hold again. Phone rings and then I think I will get through and then on hold again. Very frustrating and even though I look at this location with fondness I find their staff in pharmacy continually changing...students??? Don't know but not impressed!!! Update...finally got through after about l/2 hour and told that they didn't have enough staff on. Also my prescriptions were ready but no one phoned to tell me. My husband gets updates but apparently they do not call anymore since March. Looking for another pharmacy.
This Shopper’s Drug Mart is situated along Dunbar Street and 28th Avenue ..it is our go to place for a wide variety of drug store products including prescriptions, home and electronics..a wide variety of items are displayed on the weekly promotional flyers…many frozen foods, especially Ice Cream are one of my favorites..the staff are especially friendly and helpful..
I recently had the pleasure of being helped by Amal. she helped me find the right skincare products for my skin, and I am beyond impressed! Amal was amazing—she really took the time to listen to my concerns and understand what my skin needed. She recommended products that have made a noticeable difference, and my skin has never looked this good. What I loved most was how personalized her advice was; it felt like she genuinely cared about helping me achieve the best results. If you're struggling to find the right skincare, I highly recommend Amal—she knows her stuff!
This shoppers is the reason why my family and I have food on my plate. I love the environment, and Shoppers is my second home. The staff is very friendly and loves me for who I am. Rahim, Jay, David, and Wilmero are very supportive. Margaret , Rose, Merissa, Celia, Sandy, Kim, Amal, Christy, and even the pharmacy staff treat me so nice. I love working here! This shoppers is full of opportunities, and I'm ready to grab all of them.
