I’m came into shoppers on Saturday June 14th and as soon as I walk in there we’re 3 ladies standing behind the beauty counter and all 3 looked at me in disgust, not even a hello. Once I finished my shopping I used the self check out and as I was leaving I politely smiled and said bye to the cashier and once again I got looked at in disgust. I’m not sure why but everyone seems too good to even make an effort to be a good human being. Shoppers drug mart staff is slowly getting extremely ignorant as is the pharmacy staff. I used to always come to shoppers but I’ve started shopping elsewhere due to the rude staff
RETURN EXPERIENCEnnI recently completed a return at the cosmetics counter and was pleasantly surprised to learn that returns could be processed in this department. The process was smooth, and the cashier was friendly and helpful, making it a hassle-free experience.nnSTORE LAYOUT & SELECTIONnnThe store is well-organized, with the pharmacy located at the back and the cosmetics section near the entrance. They carry a variety of products, including stationery, groceries, toiletries, jewelry, and even some electronic supplies. It’s a convenient one-stop shop for everyday essentials.nnCHECKOUT OPTIONSnnShoppers Drug Mart offers both self-checkout stations and staffed checkout lanes, so whether you prefer a quick self-service option or personal assistance, both choices are available.nnPARKING & ACCESSIBILITYnnParking is easily accessible, with ample spaces available, making it convenient for quick visits or longer shopping trips.nnSUMMARYnnA well-stocked store with a smooth return process, friendly staff, and a variety of products. The availability of both self-checkout and cashier service adds to the convenience, and parking spots are easy to locate.nnAnnie W.nMaster ReviewernLocal Guide / Google Maps
Staff was great, it was clean, a busy store. Picked up reading glasses and a few other items. Would I recommend this place , yes
It takes a pretty negative experience for me to give a 1 star review but after a couple other past experiences, I feel the 1 star is consistent and deserved. The professional standards for this pharmacy have dropped dramatically over the years and from reading the other reviews it seems I’m not the only one who feels this way.nnI waited for at least 5 minutes for this pharmacist to finish scanning what appeared to be inventory items before I got to speak with her. Not a problem, I can wait, but when she finished I could tell she was already done with our conversation before it even started. The woman I spoke to was insolent and impatient. Long story short, I was told one thing by Urgent Care and a another thing by this Shoppers Pharmacist, which was confusing and frustrating but honestly just a tiny bit of understanding and care explaining things could have made the world of a difference. She had zero customer service skills. She said the doctor at Urgent Care doesn’t know what he’s talking about, at one point rolled her eyes, then threw her arms up and said “well you can speak to the other pharmacist” before walking away. The other pharmacist then came over and he, unlike the other employee, was a lot more sympathetic and offered alternative solutions instead. Had I of dealt with him right away, I wouldn’t be sitting here writing this review, because he took the time to explain things to me and helped find another solution.nnIt doesn’t take much to be kind. You’re in customer service. If you don’t want to deal with people and help people, then find another job. I don’t recommend this Shoppers pharmacy.
I am very disappointed in the service of this pharmacy.nnI had my doctor call in a prescription the other day. In previous times they have filled my prescription same day and texted me. Didn’t happen.nnFast forward to today. I called them. Asked about my prescription. I had to tell them to fill it. Which seems weird. The pharmacist also said that if I hadn’t of called it would take 48 hours.nnFine. Anyways. I was told them can you please fill it this morning. The pharmacist said sure no problem. Then I get a text saying my prescription is ready for pickup as soon as I got off the phone. Even though the pharmacist said it would take an hour.nnFast forward two hours later. My partner went to pick it up for me. Which I had called and asked if that was ok. Gave them my name, partners name, and prescription type. The guy on the phone seemed like he wasn’t really paying attention to me.nnMy partner shows up. They tell him it’s not ready. He’s going to have to wait 30 more minutes. He’s like no. I am not waiting.nnAnd guess what they had the prescription but what, wouldn’t look for it???nnNo apologies. Just terrible service. I will not be going back to this pharmacy.nnWhich is really too bad.
