UPDATE: Its been 10 business days since this disaster, no one called me to explain your screw up so now I guess I am left with no choice but to file a complaint at the BBB and several other online review sites. You stole my hundreds of dollars in points which took thousands spent to earn that. Shoppers and Atlantic superstore will never see my families money again, over 25000$ per year we spend, look at our points card for proof!!!!--------------old review I want to make this clear. My review is for a horrible shopping experience at miramichi yesterday caused by Optimum and not by any employees at this location. They sent me a points offer which convinced me to go buy the PS5 for my kids for Christmas. I live 30 minutes from Bathurst NB but they didnt have any PS5 at that location. So we drove yesterday to Miramichi which is 90 minutes from our home. We chose the unit we want, go to pay and the nice lady informed me that my optimum card was set at collect only, not able to use the point we had accumulated...I looked online and the settings were correct so I went into my parked car and called customer service....49 minutes later I get a human who was extremely difficult to understand...She informed me that there was suspected fraud on my POINTS CARD, yeah makes sence eh! She asked where was the last place i used my points card and she wanted the exact amount of the purchase which was impossible to remember...Spent 45 minutes wasting my time with someone who had no clue what was going on...finally she told me you cant use your card untill it clears the fraud department...How convenient for this to happen the day I would have saved 300$ on a PS5. I suspect they did this not to honour the point deal they sent me that morning...We left empty handed, spent 50 bucks on gas all for nothing. This is the only point card Ive ever had, I use it for food gas and other things and for shoppers to do this just convinced me that your point scheme is a scam and I will NEVER shop at Shoppers drum mart again under any circumstance. They are dead to me, my husband and my entire family, enjoy your loss of revenue cause we spend over 10k a year and that goes down to zero now. I do want to make it clear that the person working in miramichii was nice and has nothing to do with this major failure on shoppers part.

Had a terrible experience being harassed when I was a kid or a very young adult by a guy at a local bar that looked almost exactly like the owner of this who is also the owner of the Douglastown Shoppers. I'm 95% sure it was him. Plus like any Shoppers, prices here are way overpriced, and has huge amount of unhealthy products -- this is not what pharmacies should be. It feels like dystopia.
Helped me get my prescription transferred over from Ontario on very short notice as I was staying in New Brunswick past our expected time.
