I had a completely unacceptable experience at your store today around 9:19pm. A staff member named “BRENDA” was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. There was a Harry Potter toothbrush clearly placed under a sale sign, and instead of acknowledging the store’s mistake, she kept arguing that it was not a kids’ toothbrush and that it should say so on the product. I clearly explained that it was placed under that section and labeled “Harry Potter,” so any reasonable customer would pick it based on that. It is not the customer’s job to question incorrect placement or guess what the store “meant.”nnShe also kept insisting that the product should be a pack of two and repeatedly said “2 each,” even though the label clearly showed “1EA,” which means one each. I pointed this out multiple times, and only after realizing that she was wrong, she suddenly changed her argument and started saying it was not the kids’ toothbrush instead. It honestly felt like she was just trying to argue for the sake of it rather than admitting the mistake. I don’t understand what she was trying to prove.nnShe then told me I should have checked the product code before buying. That is absolutely not my responsibility. If your store cannot place items correctly, don’t expect customers to verify internal product numbers.nnOn top of that, she removed the sale sign in front of me and refused to honor the price. She also made an inappropriate comment saying that customers move products around all the time to get lower prices. When I told her to check the cameras if she was accusing me, she tried to backtrack by saying she wasn’t talking about me specifically. That doesn’t make it any better, it clearly shows the kind of attitude she has towards customers.nnThis kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on your store.
I went in twice for redeeming a gift certificate for cologne for myself and a perfume for my wife. Both of these gift certificates were reasonably old. Melissa and Taylor were absolutely fantastic with the way they went above and beyond to help me. Melissa is the manager for the beauty section and she waited patiently on the phone to redeem the gift certificate with customer service. She could have easily asked me to call customer service and sent me on my way. Which mind you, did happen at a different location. But I was blown away with the professionalism and customer care shown by both of the girls on 2 separate days. Absolutely impressed and appreciative of the way Melissa and Taylor handled things.
Open until midnight is SO convenient! Even better there was someone working the pharmacy at 11:15pm Dec 29 2025. I'm not sure if they were a pharmacist or not, but they were friendly and helpful. The selection was great. They carry more food than I expected; even fresh produce. With so many stores in Abbotsford closing at 10 and 11pm, I'll be back for sure. I'm not organized enough to have my shopping done by 10pm
I went to the pharmacy here today to pick up a prescription. The pharmacist woman working checked the prescription on her computer and told me that its not ready yet & told me pick it up tomorrow. While i really needed that medicine; i requested if i can get it sooner; she said okay i will call you later when its ready. I took a copy of prescription from her so that i can look in any other pharmacy if i can get it quicker. She explained me that if i get it from anywhere else i have to give them a call to cancel it and then i will be able to grab it from somewhere else. I called another pharmacy and i came to know one of the prescribed medicineBenylin Dry cough syrup was over the counter and another one prescribed medicine comes in a bottle which was a mouthwash Benzydamine HCL 0.15%. I called back to shopper’s pharmacy when i reached home and the male pharmacist working there answered my call and told me my medicine is available i can pick it up within 5mins. So, basically the pharmacist woman didn’t even took me serious at any point when at first place i was there; she basically said me to wait for a medicine was literally available over the counter & the prescribed which she could have just picked from the backside and sent me home with. This was so shocking for me that a pharmacist who should know the value of giving a right medication to the person who has a prescription and who will be definitely in need of it. She mis-guided me. I would really appreciate if the head of this pharmacist department can look into it & train her well for this job and taking patients seriously not telling a lie to them. Her name was Chelsea i guess, working around at 6-6.15pm. Really disappointing it was !
refused to price match the price of a lip gloss that is clearly stated on sale on their website and at other shoppers locations. i was told that the manager decides which items they sell on sale at their store, and that the item would continue to be sold at regular price. really confusing and inconvenient. i bought it from another shoppers at the discounted price.
