All our prescriptions are here. Regular customer. Today I needed a refill but was told government wont cover for 20 more days. I would have to wait 20 days without my medication . Or call fax doctor who is a specialist and hard to get a hold of. So I just paid full price because I needed my medication. My medication is Prednisone and I taper up or down according to whats going on. I had a flare and my blood labs showed high increase of CPR so I increased my dosage just a little and its getting back up under control. . However the government plan does not recognize these things.nI did just say look I will pay full price then and they had it ready for me that day as I still had a refill allowed. Just the go government plan makes it hard for doctors to know how to prescribe and for patient to end up arguing with the pharmacist and then paying full price.nI appreciate the pharmacy filling the order but I wish the government powers would realize some meds are not straight forward.
People working here dont know whats going on. Went to purchase some giftcard because shoppers advertised bonus points on their flyer. Cashier failed to notify me that my points card didnt scanned properly and i can only check after i got receipt. The people who got called to help didnt even know about this promotion even though its posted all over the store. They almost dismissed me saying that giftcard purchase doesnt get points. I have to go to the shelf to get their flyer for them to believe me. Ofcourse then they claim they cant do anything and i have to submit inquiry online. They also refused to redo the transaction. Ofcourse the online inquiry and app doesnt work. And i have to jump over so many hoops still havent got my $20 worth of points just because the cashier didnt pay attention when doing their job
I do not recommend getting a walk-in vaccine from Shoppers. I filled out the online form, and called the pharmacy on two separate occasions to verify when I could come in to get the shot administered. Both times, when I arrive to the pharmacy they say the pharmacist can't do it today. I don't understand why I get two different answers on the phone vs at the store. People answering the phones should have the correct information.
One of the worst pharmacies …. I dropped off a prescription for my toddler Tuesday morning and was told I would get a text when it’s ready. Never got a text but decided to go Wednesday night to pick it up. She told me she doesn’t need to fill it and I can get it in aisle 3. I’ve gotten this prescription filled 3 times and no other pharmacy told me this is over the counter I decided to not get it and go back to fill my prescription and the same girl who wasn’t helping anyone looked and me and then continued staring off into space. Finally a male pharmacist helps me and I explain what just happened and he said I can fill it but it’s the exact same product that’s on the shelves … I asked if he is sure because I don’t want to wast my money and come back and get the prescription filled. He said “why would a pharmacist tell you it’s the same if it isn’t” ….. what horrible service. From the start. Go to Rexall down the street
