Overall, this is my preferred Shoppers Drug Mart location in the area, and after visiting several times, I felt it was important to share my experience.nnFrom the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by two very pleasant and welcoming staff members. Both were smiling, and one even adjusted her name tag so I could clearly see her name, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit.nnAs I walked through the store, I noticed how exceptionally clean, bright, and well organized everything was. The shelves throughout multiple aisles were fully stocked, and the inventory selection here is noticeably better than at some other Shoppers locations I’ve visited. I’ve also consistently found excellent deals at this store, sometimes even better than other nearby locations.nnDuring my visit, I met a representative from Carlton Cards who was stocking the greeting card aisle. Although she doesn’t work directly for Shoppers, she was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain customized card box options that could be used for gift giving. That level of helpfulness really stood out.nnThe seasonal section is very well stocked, and the store also features a large Canada Post area with multiple mailing options, including self mailing. While I haven’t personally used the postal services or pharmacy yet, it’s clear they offer convenient add-on services all in one place.nnThe beauty and cosmetics department is impressive, with a wide selection of high-quality skincare, makeup, lotions, and face creams. Everything appeared organized and fully replenished.nnI also want to acknowledge that Shoppers Drug Mart locations often deal with a high level of retail theft, so staff tend to be alert. In my experience at this location, however, employees are approachable, knowledgeable, and very helpful if you simply ask for assistance. Each time I’ve needed help finding something, staff have been quick to point me in the right direction.nnAnother major advantage is their hours. Being open until midnight is incredibly convenient when you’re in a pinch.nnI was also pleasantly surprised by the grocery section. They carry fresh produce, milk, eggs, meats, and a well-stocked frozen food selection. Prices are reasonable compared to other Shoppers locations, especially when combined with their frequent deals.nnAccessibility is excellent as well. The store has wheelchair access, two handicap parking spaces directly out front, and a large parking lot located within a convenient plaza.nnIf I were rating strictly on customer service, cleanliness, product availability, pricing, and overall shopping experience, this would easily be a five-star location. However, since I have not personally used the pharmacy or Canada Post services yet, I feel it’s only fair to leave one star reserved until I can fully review those additional services myself.nnOverall, a consistently positive experience and definitely the Shoppers Drug Mart location I choose to visit most often.
I had a great experience at Shoppers Drug Mart thanks to Juliet. She is extremely professional, patient, and attentive. She took the time to answer all of my questions carefully and made sure I fully understood everything. You can truly tell she cares about her work and her customers.nThank you, Juliet, for your excellent service!
Store is fine. Horrific customer service at the pharmacy section. Against my better judgment, I took my son there for his eye infection because they advertise “see the pharmacist for possible pink eye and prescription” everywhere around the store. I should have known better. These people don’t care. There was literally NO CUSTOMERS there and after we waited for a while for someone to even acknowledge us, we were told that the pharmacist who was typing into a computer 10 feet away was “too busy” and that we should go elsewhere. She saw a 3 year old boy standing there, crying with an eye infection, and couldn’t walk over 10 feet to prescribe some anti-biotics. Well if you’re that busy, stop advertising the service to people, so that we would have gone elsewhere off the bat.
I paid $34.99 + HST for passport photos at this location and felt the price was higher than other nearby options. The price list wasn't clearly displayed, and I didn't receive any digital files. The photos themselves were decent, but the overall satisfaction wasn't high considering the price. I recommend clearly stating the prices beforehand and adding an option to provide digital files.
I would give zero start if I can. I paid $35+$25*2 plus tax for a family of three for digital visa photos. The digital copies are not the original files, but the truncated files e.g. 120kb in size. The quality of the photos are mediocre. If I wanted to get the physical copies, I would need to pay an additional $25 per person. The worked out to be $53 + tax per person!!nnIf the pricing was explained clearly at the beginning, I would have walked away without wasting all of our time. It generally would cost $30-$45 for BOTH the digital and physical, professionally taken copies else where.nnThe staff members were friendly, but the pricing is extortionary and I am very disappointed by the lack of transparent pricing and lackluster quality of product.
