Shoppers Drug Mart

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this Shoppers location. The staff are unhelpful and seemed more focused on lecturing me than providing any real assistance. They didn’t even know how to handle exchanges properly it's like they were trying to invent a new way to confuse customers. Their behavior is unprofessional. This isn't the first time I've encountered such poor customer service here. Unfortunately, this SDM is by far the worst in the city. On top of that, the place is dirty and unkempt. I won't be returning.

Shoppers Drug Mart is my go-to pharmacy and convenience store, and I can't say enough about how much I love their discounts! Whenever they have promotions or discounts available, it's like a little gift waiting for me. From everyday essentials to beauty products, the savings are always appreciated. The staff is friendly and helpful, making my shopping experience even better. Keep up the great work, Shoppers Drug Mart! I'll definitely keep coming back for more fantastic deals.

I have been using Shoppers Drug Mart for all my prescription needs since I was a kid. At 41, I cannot express how disappointed I am. These two locations, Shoppers on 17th Ave. SE and Shoppers in Madigan are the 2 worst locations to attend.nnThe pharmacy staff at both of these locations are extremely unprofessional, and have been so racist towards myself and my family. When I have been waiting in line, I have watched them degrade elderly people, minorities, and ESPECIALLY anyone who appears homeless or down on their luck. The most atrocious part is there are minorities who work at these locations who appear to do it more.nnThe pharmacy staff at both locations seem to have lost their kindness and humanity. I believe Pharmacists should be helping people, and doing it to the best of their ability, but that is a notion lost to these staff members. I understand over time, things can take a toll, BUT TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH will never be acceptable.nnI have a rare blood disorder and I get medication from the blood bank and I have to use a sharps container for at home use. Once my container was full, I was advised by the blood bank to surrender my sharps container at my local pharmacy that I use. When I tried to surrender my sharps container, they would NOT accept it saying that it wasn’t their product that they gave me, so they wouldn’t take my container. I still have no where to surrender my used kits, that include an IV line.nnI have been HOVERED over as I’m trying to buy my things at self check out. I have never stolen anything in my entire life. I move slower at checkout because I use coupons and optimize my points. The security guard at the 17th Ave location, has been more kind to me than thennAvoid this location. If you must go here I want you to know that how they treat you is NOT a reflection of anything you have done. You matter and there are pharmacies out there that actually care. Be especially on guard and safe when it comes to the Pharmacy staff at these locations.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My kid has asthma, which is triggered by allergies and sickness. Even his physician says it is normal to need his puffer more in these instances and instead of worrying more about a child having an asthma attack they worry more about the last time I picked up an inhaler and talk down to you like you're a drug addict for ventalin. Literally been going there for 7 years and have never had a good experience they are either rude on the phone or rude in person. Today was my last straw. And I can tell by the ratings and comments on here that I am not the only one who experiences this with this pharmacy. 10/10 would never recommend this place to anyone.

Barb is always very friendly and gives great customer service. The store is often messy and could use a good facing especially oral care.
