I have visited numerous times in a month. What unhappy people working here. Pharmacist didn't provide how to see a doctor when visiting from another province. Had no idea, go to the hospital for an earache, really. On floor staff find stocking shelves more important than help finding anything. Too busy to care. Cashiers, sorry to bother you but I am an optimum member, it is seniors day and I would like my discount & gift card.nThe close proximity is nice, making your way thru the street people is fun.nFind another pharmacy would be my recommendation.
The pharmacy assistant was great but the pharmacist himself was awful. Sam, the pharmacist, put me on hold without letting anyone know for nearly twenty minutes, and then refused to fill a routine prescription for a common ailment with 45 minutes left of opening time after I went to the pharmacy. I wasn't even able to make a request or fill out a form, but I was the only one there. Don't usually write reviews but it's sad they probably can't replace him
Security at this location needs to be given proper training on how to treat people. Every time I’m in this shop I’m watching unhoused people, non white people, and anyone else they deem sketchy get tailed by security. On multiple occasions my indigenous friends have been followed by security from not even 2 feet away the entire time they’ve been inside.nnOn Valentine’s Day, I was in the store and an unhoused man came in and asked the security in an urgent tone if the narcan is kept at the front desk or the pharmacy. She gave him a dirty look, he repeated himself, and she shrugged and walked away. Someone was actively overdosing outside and she couldn’t be bothered to answer a one word question. This store is downtown in an area that is dealing with a drug crisis, if seeing addicts or unhoused people is so repulsive to you, then you absolutely shouldn’t work there.
Sales are not posted in a timely manner.nNew staff are not trained well.nLonger term staff believes that this store is wasting their time.nGlad that the hours are increasing. Only because it's the closest store that i bother going.
There is a lot of square footage and I would imagine you could find almost anything you required but I found navigating the aisles/shelves/end caps a bit challenging.nnFortunately I was able to locate a store employee restocking shelves who was able to confirm that I had found the complete inventory of the two items that I was looking for.
