This review is for the Beauty Boutique team at Shoppers Drug Mart, specifically Chloe and Fahida! I had such an amazing experience shopping here today and these girls were extremely helpful with the entire process. They were so knowledgeable in their recommendations and I left very very happy with everything I needed. Not to mention, I got to take advantage of the best points offer with my products! Amazing staff, experienced and so friendly :
Clearly the reviews of this pharmacy are very consistent and accurate. The staff is rude and try to avoid helping you. Wait times are absolutely ridiculous. I can see waiting for 15-20 min for a puffer but not over an hour. Stay away from this place or drop your prescription and leave it for a few days and it might be ready.
I visited the store today to get my prescription medicine and encountered an employee named Kevin, who demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge about medical ethics and humanity. I was suffering from pneumonia and urgently needed my medication. Kevin was unable to locate the insurance provided by my company. I then asked him to use my husband’s insurance, which also covers me. However, he claimed that he couldn’t use my husband’s insurance for my medical coverage.nnI don’t understand the logic behind this, as I am covered under both insurances, and until now, we have only been using my husband’s insurance without any issues.nnEmployees like Kevin are a burden to companies with a strong reputation, and if Shoppers continues to hire such individuals, the brand’s goodwill will suffer, potentially leading to its decline in Canada.
I just experienced one of the rudest managers of any establishment that I’ve ever entered. The manager was extremely rude, and when I tried to say something back to him, he walked away and did not answer. I will never step foot into that shoppers again, and the manager feels that he can talk down to women he definitely would not have talked to a man the same way he spoke to me!nAbsolutely disgusting behaviour from a manager
