This is a convenient one-stop shop offering prescription medications, snacks, cosmetics, household items and more.nThe store is clean and well-stocked, with friendly staff, but prices can feel a bit high compared to competitors.nnAmple free parking makes access easy, and nearby attractions like restaurants, a library and discount stores such as Dollar Tree enhance the area’s appeal.
I mostly shop at this Shoppers for convenience — but what really makes it worth it is the cosmetic section, especially Jayne. She is absolutely incredible. Her knowledge of fragrances and makeup is next level — easily better than people I’ve met at Sephora or Holt Renfrew. Jayne always gives thoughtful recommendations, knows the products inside and out, and has taught me tips I would’ve never thought of. If she’s working, I’ll go out of my way to shop with her.nnThat said, the prices are really expensive. Like, even for Vancouver — this location feels marked up more than most.nnAs for the pharmacy, I’ve had repeated issues with incorrect or incomplete prescriptions and high fees, so I go to the Mediview pharmacy across the lot now. Much better service there.nnBottom line: come here for Jayne in cosmetics — she's unreal.nGeneral selection for other departments good.nYou will pay the convenience fee
This store is my primary place my prescription are sent to. The PC Health App keeps track of my prescriptions, number of refills and date to expect my next refill. I get texts when they are ready.nnEvery time I pick up my prescriptions, the machine for blood pressure keeps track of my blood pressure, heart rate, weight, and BMI on the PC Health App.nnThe PC Health App has a plethora of health information and services for health support that is very good.
During my visit, I experienced poor service from the cashier, an Indian lady with a ponytail, who seemed impatient and unfriendly. She advised me to proceed to the self-checkout with my items valued at over $300, while serving customers with fewer items.nI requested assistance, but she responded with rudeness and a dismissive attitude. Thankfully, the Filipino lady who took over was extremely patient and friendly, scanning my items while I handled the bagging myself.
My and my son has the same prescription of nasal spray that our medical clinic sent to this pharmacy today and was received by their staff around 2 pm. We called the pharmacy and we were told that the sprays will be available at 4 pm. We went to pick up our sprays at 9 pm thinking they are already available. My son's nasal spray is ready for pick up while mine isn't and was told to wait another 20 minutes. This for me is unacceptable. What caused the delay?
