I had not filed taxes for a few years since returning to Canada from working abroad. The taxes should have been a simple thing. The taxes were a simple thing, until the CRA decided to deny claims and ask for additional information and notarized documents that in the end the agent was unsure why this was even requested. Stellar work CRA : Having ShoeBox deal with the numerous calls, sending supplementary documents and other headaches made using their service worth the money paid for having my taxes prepared.
I’m grateful to have discovered ‘Shoebox Services’ and particularly happy with the personal support and knowledge that Line and Cindy provide with Income Tax matters. Looking forward to a long and productive association.
Avoid. Lots of months waiting and paying for nothing. Maybe very straightforward taxes or small basic items would be successful here but if you have any nuances just save your time and go elsewhere. Difficult to work with. Did not work with new accountant nor the CRA direction that was given. Very professional aside from my experience. Also items that literally took several months here with no outcome was completed by another company in less then a week for a fraction of the cost. Honestly not sure what the problem was.
I love having this team in my back pocket. Knowledge of business accounting is extremely helpful and their services really do allow me to not worry about the books, so I can keep on trucking with the work that I am good at. Thanks Shoebox!
My wife and I have used Shoebox for years. This is a professional team with very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
