Words cannot begin to describe my level of satisfaction with Shoe Repair Express. The three things in life that I was taught to not skimp on are food, shoes and toilet paper. I don't know what toilet paper has to do with this review, but I can tell you that I buy only the best shoes and when they wear out they are worth restoring and John provides the BEST shoe repair that I have ever received. Hardworking, honest and dedicated to his craft of over 50 years. Oh yeah food, the best corned beef on rye is next door at Schamaltz Deli. Don't skimp on the corned beef and DON'T skimp on your shoes. See John at Shoe Repair Express today, I did and I am thrilled!

I had a phenomenal experience here. Six years ago I used his services to resole and reheel my boots and he repaired them so well they lasted for 5 years. I brought him another pair this month and he did fantastic work. The shoes are more comfortable and sturdy than when I first bought them. Plus he's fast! The price was very reasonable for exceptional work. I'm going to bring him all my shoes!

John, the owner is the best Shoe Repair guy in the Chicagoland area! He does excellent work and provides outstanding service. I can always trust him to do an amazing job on my shoe repair and polish for the many years that I have been going to him. He's a great and charming guy, and I definitely recommend him for all leather repair from shoes, to handbags, luggage, jackets, belts, etc. The next door bagel and deli shop even has their Greek salad named after him.

First time here and John greeted me, very friendly real nice guy to talk to and knows what he's doing. Been here for 29 years I found out and gave me a really good price on all three Western boots full soles and heels and dying one of them, looking forward to get my boots back Monday and maybe even one of them tomorrow Saturday one-day service. He has my business from now on. Small business owner dedicate to his craft and loves it.

I choose classic things that I like, and I wear them as long as they go, usually shoes last over 6-8 years, so I would rather repair them then throw away, and the repair my shoes got here will get them some more years to go. Greatly done work.
