came here for some shish taouk fix fir the first time and it didn't disappoint. the portions were nice and they heat up the sandwich nicely on that plate. the Salad was ok but pleasant clean and the environment was comfortable. I'll def come back hereFood: 5/5
Since the chef or the owner changed the younger man giving raw meat I tried 2nd time getting raw. It will be my last time. This restaurant was one of my favorite but now worst
The best restaurant in the south shore. Great staff. Very helpful. Healthy options. As a Lebanese I find this place to be the best representation of my food and culture. Try the shish taouk plate healthy option. My favorite.
I ordered two of the same meals via Uber eats - Kebab with chicken brochette plates. I received one kebab plate and one KIFTA plate and I received SHAWARMA chicken instead of the chicken brochettes I got a few brochettes. I have to say the meat wasn’t cooked properly, the rice was dry/old, and the taste wasn’t as good as it used to be. Their quality of food went down. I’m definitely not ordering anymore from them. They lost a customer cause it’s the second time this happens to me with them. Chao.
*Update: New owner apparently, and it's not hard to believe because it sucks now. Portions got smaller, chicken was too browned and I had to discard a third of it. It was also so incredibly dry that it wasn't even good with the hummus and garlic sauce. Which also brings up the point that they give about a tablespoon each of hummus and garlic sauce. They don't answer the phone, and the employees seemed to be unhappy with their jobs as there was no friendly demeanor to the service. At least the salads were tasty . Won't be going back because there are other very good Lebanese restaurants around. *Old: Good food and very friendly staff. The restaurant is spotless. The couscous dish should be a little less couscous and a bit more bouillon with vegetables... so just make sure to ask.
I'm not sure what's going on but I usually always order from here and it's usually good, today I ordered my salads with fattouche and they gave me what you see in the picture a couple of tomatoes and cucumbers that are not even fresh. I think this will be my last order.
Great service from Rola and Ziad! The food is delicious. I like the fact that they don't put everything in one plate. They put the salads in a different plate and the garlic sauce in small containers so the food doesn't get mixed all together. Also, the portions are generous and the salads are fresh! I highly recommend
Edited but looking in the most recent reviews. My review is about the same, this place might unfortunately go downhill. I went there on a Saturday. 1. The food smells like fish . However, the potatoes were delicious, and they barely give chicken . I loved the salad tasty 2. 15 dollars per chicken plate, not a trio before taxes. No chicken and that made me a bit upset 3. Extremely slow service, they need to hire 1 more person. I think the owner is running it but can be wrong. 4. The person is a sweetheart He needs some support, he had no energy. Summary: The place has potential but we need to love our customers or your business will not grow . There are too many halal restos Final: I had plan to go there as it was few mind away, but nahhhh
The place was a little hard to find with GPS, but it's next to a Mikes in a little block of buildings. We decided to go here based on the amazing reviews, and I wanted to like it so bad. The pitas are fantastic, just phenomenal. I wish they were toasted a little more for a bit of a crunch, but they're great all the same. The potatoes are also really good, especially with garlic sauce. The service inside is so friendly and fast. But I found a hair on the container of my salad and that was enough to put me off from my food.
Update: Unfortunately after dining here recently the food was all bland and dry, I couldn't enjoy and finish it like I did three years ago. Top notch food. Big plates of fresh deliciousness! A hands down favourite restaurant. Nourriture frais sur des grosse assiette. Absolument délicieux! Restaurant préféré!
