This is likely one of the best venues I worked at. The vibe was hype, incredible staff, very organized and well thought out process, sales were ok, marketing & brand awareness solid, music and entertainment excellent, Location heavy traffic of locals and tourists. You should definitely check it out. If you're a vendor, parking and loading require some effort.
The Shipyards Night Market is more than just a market – it’s an unmissable vibe! This place is bursting with life, and endless things to explore—an absolute must-visit. From the moment you arrive, the energy is contagious. The vibe here is just on a different level. It’s a beautiful place with so much diversity in offering that no matter what your taste is, you will find something you like. The vibrant mix of vendors offers everything from unique clothing, handmade jewellery, and vintage finds to delicious street food from all over the world. The atmosphere is always buzzing with energy. Very vibrant night life market. The Shipyards Night Market was the ultimate summer hangout—come hungry and leave with a camera full of memories! The atmosphere is buzzing with energy. The food scene? Absolutely fire. The street food here is next level…you’ll for sure find something to satisfy your taste buds. This Pineapple drink from Island Husk was served inside a whole pineapple for a next level refreshment! The pineapple juice they gave me in a cup was also so refreshing and perfect for summer. The Greek food from The Mad Greek was on point, so much flavour in every bite. The tornado potato was such a fun and crispy snack! I ate a scrumptious burger from Odd Burger. The hot dog from J’s Disco Dogs was downright delicious and I loved the mouthwatering pretzel from Mr. Pretzel. The gelato from Life is Sweet Confections had a super rich flavour and is incredibly creamy. And the food didn’t end there…I loved the sweet & juicy corn on the cob from Roasted Revolution. The kettle corn from Garys Kettle Corn was super addicting and super delicious! I couldn’t resist the samosa from Chai Wagon. I had to wash everything down with the fruit smoothie from Grub Truck. This place is more than a market—it’s a full-on summer night adventure with food, fun, and live music. There’s something happening on every corner: music, art, fashion, and most importantly—food! Add in the live music, and friendly atmosphere, and you’ve got a place that stays in your memory. Shipyards Night Market is a vibrant and eclectic spot with endless street food options, unique little shops, and personalized items you won’t find anywhere else. Shipyards Night Market is an absolute gem! The energy is unmatched, making it the perfect place to explore, eat, and soak in the vibrant market vibes.
Attended the first Shipyards Christmas Market and it was stunning. Such an awesome addition to the lower mainland. Booths were spaced out and crowds were not too crazy. Tons of free samples and friendly sellers who had genuinely interesting products to see. Mulled wine, apple cider, and bratwurst was all cooked over an open fire in cauldrons which took the atmosphere to the next level. Very affordable compared to other holiday attractions in the city. Parking was accessible but pricey but the seabus is right there and very accessible.
It's a perfect plaza for summer night. The night market runs every Friday night in the summer.nThere are a live band stage, beer garden, lots of food trucks, vendors and many more.nIf you never been to this night market, you should go.nThe ambience, vibe and the water views will not disappointed you.nThe whole area are good for all ages. There are also a big splash park for kids in day time. Lots of seat around this splash park. The vendors are including fresh made pop corns and cotton candy.nIf you don't like the food truck, there are many good restaurants in this area.nA perfect plaza for a walk or just relaxing there.nThe sunset view and downtown view are marvellous.
Christmas market is free entry, bring money because the vendors are expensive. The sunset view is spectacular!! Music on the main stage. My favorite food vendor so far is the chicken and hot dogs. Cotton candy is cheap and really good!
