Super fresh, large portion sizes, and well presented. We ordered take out for a birthday lunch - were really impressed with the food and service. Picked up about 10 different rolls - Caterpillar and Philadelphia Rolls were the standouts - plus prawn tempura, which was fried fresh when we picked it up. Platters were well presented and food was tasty and fresh. Will be back!
Our family loves sushi and this is our go to. Easy to order online and always a friendly greeting at pickup. The food is great and if we have time we also like to dine in at their other location in town. They have lots of selection even though we stick to our usual order.
I’ve enjoyed Shinobi Sushi for over 7 years and I’ve had sushi all over the world - this little restaurant has THE best hands down! The freshest, most delicious sushi I’ve ever had and generous portions too. Exceptional service from Judy at Shinobi Express and Christine at the dine in location downtown Maple Ridge!nI Shinobi !!
Love dropping into the Express location. Food is on point, service is amazing. We never hesitate to submit an order online - they get it right every time!
The food is great. The service is terrible. There is absolutely no point in ordering ahead. Every time we order, let’s say it’s been ten times, we get there shortly after the time they say the food will be ready and it’s still another 15 minutes wait. My theory is they don’t actually start making the food until you show up to pay for it. They must have been burned too many times or simply don’t trust their patrons.nnTip: if you do order ahead, show up 15-20 minutes after they tell you to. There is minimal space to stand to even wait that long.
