Shining Waters has over 30 wet and dry attractions split into 6 themed areas. These areas include:

*Shining Springs Water Park
Take a plunge down the amazing Cannonbowl in an inner tube! Enjoy the spills and thrills of the Crossbow, or take a more relaxing ride down one of our two body slides. For smaller kids there's the Turtle Cove play area with the Turtle Twister.

*Buccaneer Bay
Attempt a Mutiny on the Renegade! Ride the Buccaneer Bay Roller Coaster or sail your very own pirate ship on the waters of Buccaneer Bay.

*Bandit's Barnyard
Enjoy a traditional Island farm including pygmy goats, miniature horses, pigs, rabbits and donkeys. Don't forget to say hello to Mr. Scarecrow! You can also view a show by our very own Cackle Revue, or take a tractor ride. You can also take a ride on our Pumpkin Patch or Merry-go-Round attractions.

*Discovery Woods
Over 1000 feet of trails through a relaxing stream side forested area. Visit the "Out of this World" Disco, the Hillbilly Cabin or cross the Swinging Bridge to our exciting treehouse. You can also enjoy our Mirror Maze! Explore two stories of suprises and fun. Watch out for the moving floors and confusing maze.

*Storybook Land
Explore King's Candy and Gift Shop in the Castle. Try the witch's cave, if you dare! There is also a large selection of playground equipment, children's rides and a live entertainment amphitheater with shows throughout the day.

*Lighthouse on the Wharf
Tucked in behind the lighthouse at the Entrance is the Wharf and Marina. Here you can enjoy a relaxing paddleboat ride.

No wait to enter the park. We found the rides to be fairly underwhelming but the water park made up for it. Also my problem was that I kept wanting it to be Rainbow Valley, but it isn't comparable. You can expect to wait 15+ minutes to ride either of the tube slides. I think they should invest in some more tubes. Our 4 year old really enjoyed the kids section especially the 2 kid's slides. One thing I do not understand is, why, in peak season, a water park closes at 6pm. The day we visited, it was still 35 degrees with the humidity at 9pm. Even a 7pm or 730pm closing would be more appropriate. Regardless, we would highly recommend and would visit again next summer.
What a super summer Island day at a perfect venue to spend the day with two of my daughters and granddaughter! Lots of friendly staff, lots of fun rides wet and dry, very well-designed grounds -- on-site concessions or come & go with your day-pass to other eating options near-by. The only negative: the day went by too fast! Two big thumbs-up

This is a great place and very reasonable in terms of cost. It’s got a great mix of slides, rides, and activities for big and small, older and younger. It really can’t be beat for fun.nnEasy going and great for the 5-15 crowd especially just a better suited place than Sandspit across the street. However, the older kids will probably prefer Sandspit.nnThe park continues to invest in itself with rides and amenities. However, the old time charm is still here as well.nnVery much recommend, even if it’s just to watch the kids working as ride staff who are the most disinterested and bored I’ve ever seen. It’s funny to watch.nnI’ll keep bringing the kids back until they make me stay home.nnPro tip - bring a wagon with a little lunch, water, and towels.
My 2.5 year old had the TIME OF HIS LIFE! It was so great that he could do over 80% of the attractions on his own - including the waterslides in the kiddy-waterpark.nnHe rode the spiral slide at least 30 times. There was barely any lines and there was something for everyone. We enjoyed spending time with the goats, having a delicious albeit super fast-food and fried lunch and ice cream to round out the day.nnWould highly recommend Shining Waters to anyone who is looking for a fun day with your kiddos. It seems PEI is so inclined to ensure that families as a whole are having a good time and this reigns true at Shining Waters fully.nnThe price was fantastic and we will be back!
