If i could give 0 stars, i would! Dr. Smith is the rudest, most unprofessional and unethical doctor I have ever met. Her opening line to me, walking into the room was “you should feel special that I’m seeing you since I’m only doing physicals”. I originally had an appointment in March and they moved it to June due to covid-19 which i understood, but then she comes into the room with the attitude that I’m ‘wasting’ her time. She refused to give me a physical on the first visit even though I was having serious symptoms. She didn’t even talk about my symptoms till the last 5-10 minutes of the appointment. The other 40-50 minutes of the appointment was her questioning my other doctors that take care of other health problems in their specific field. She was threatening when I told her I hadn’t set up a new therapist and ordered me to find one in a month. I felt that none of my presenting problems were taken serious and she didn’t want to talk about possible causes nor tests with me. The day after I had a severe episode of vomiting and called on Monday to discuss a referral to a gastroenterologist due to the vomiting I had. They stated the doctor wasn’t in and would let her know. I get a call on Tuesday and they state that Dr. Smith would be working on my referral that day and it should be done by the end of the day. Then I get a call on Wednesday and the nurse stated to me that there was NO documentation of my symptoms even though I had just went in that past Thursday and wrote all my presenting symptoms out on the sheets they have you fill out so now I had to have a virtual appointment with Dr. Smith to discuss the symptoms all over again. She was extremely rude to me on the phone cal and at the end fired me as a patient. She got so angry with me making sure I was getting care that they hung up on me!! I had to call back! Still haven’t heard anything from the referral center. They also don’t document anything that you tell them correctly in the medical report and write things out in unprofessional manners. If you want to not have anything done about your serious symptoms then go to Dr. Smith, otherwise you’re better off going somewhere else. Dr. Smith is a complete joke and I have no idea how she got her medical degree. She is threatened by intelligent, strong-willed women and will treat you with disrespect. She can’t even handle having multiple medical issues going on for one patient. I would’ve been better googling my symptoms and figuring out myself then speaking with her. I am reporting her to my insurance, memorial healthcare, and the state of Michigan. I hope she realizes she can’t treat patients this way. If she has ever done this to you, I recommend reporting her also.

Dr. Smith is amazing! She really cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond to make sure she’s not missing anything & to make sure you’re healthy and happy. I will not take my kids to anyone else. I only wish I had found her sooner!

Absolutely unbelievable. EVERY interaction with the doctor and this staff has been awful. The first appointment the nurse just talked my ear off about her personal life, couldn't give me my prescription until next time. Ok, whatever; have to do the first time visit stuff. I go in next time just to pick up prescription, and I have to pay yet again just to release my prescription. Then I suddenly need an unnecessary PAP and physical that the doc tells me I won't have to pay for, it's just standard new patient....And has to be split up into 2 appointments. Then suddenly I have a 100+ dollar bill on top of my copays. I question the doc and she talks down to me like I am a child. Then I have to get labs done for some reason, but am not told pertinent information and am once again talked to like a child. Then I need to make an appointment for an actual situation for the first time since signing on with them, and the office is extremely rude. Every time I've been there, the office staff talks over me and doesn't answer questions. I ask if there is someone else I can talk to, besides the billing department, so I can understand why all my appointments are being split up, staff gets even more rude and is "too busy" to talk to me as to why. I ask how to cancel all my services with them because they've been so rude, and the office hangs up on me. Unbelievable. I am a completely healthy, 23 year old teacher that they tried to take for a run. Would not recommend to ANYONE.

I have not had a good experience since Dr. Smith took over this practice. Phone calls about prescriptions and appointments are not returned. Unnecessary tests are ran and the results are not given. On many occasion they have scheduled me for appointments on days where the doctor doesn’t work or the doctor went home early. Extremely unprofessional staff. I am not one to normally complain but I would advise going to many other physicians in Shiawassee county before coming here.
