Went in for just a hair trim to get rid of my dead ends. I was at most 20 minutes. The total was $40 which surprised me. The lady that cut my hair was lovely, but surprised by how expensive! Also, when I went dropped by the day before to make an appointment, the lady at the desk looked at me like I had 3 heads. I think it was because I didn't have a mask on? Not sure. Didn't realise this business mandates them still with the restrictions dropped. I wish she just said. I also wish I had a heads up that they are required before my appointment as well.
Such an easy and good experience for my 4 year old daughter. I booked the same day for an appointment, and I was booked in a few hours later. The ladies were so kind to my shy daughter - they made her feel relaxed and calm. The haircut was very cute and my daughter loves it! I'll certainly be bringing her back!
Had the best experience. Went from black hair, to a beautiful redish brown. Knowing that is can be a very tricky process, it turned out better than I could ever imagine. love Service: Hairstyling

Poorly managed!! I had an appointment and was called before the appointment saying the stylist is sick so they cant have me?? Like what are u running the whole salon on 1 person??
They did a very good haircut along with hair colour. Loved it.
Great customer service - Polite & attentive staff - Similar prices as big chain hairstyle shops, with much better quality. The staff make you feel like you are more than just another number to reach their quota; they take their time to ensure you are getting the style you desire, engage with you, and you are not made to feel like you are being rushed out of the chair so that they can squeeze more clients in, which I find is a major issue at places like "First Choice", "SuperCuts"...etc.
I was nervous about having 20 inches cut off my hair. I asked for a specific cut and it was done exactly as i wanted. The service was awesome and i felt listened to. It was a big deal to get it cut to me and i am happy to say that my stylist was caring of my requests and asked a lot of questions. I will never go anywhere else. I feel safe with Sherwood Styling Salon. Thank you so much for restoring my vision of a beautiful self. <3
Asked for a lot of layers and texture got two different haircuts, a blunt cut to start and a bob cut on top looks rediculous, not at all like the picture that I showed the stylist for reference. Will never go there again. Despite the great reviews I would caution people to think twice and choose somewhere else. Had to go somewhere else to fix their mistake. Would give one star but that was not an option.
I received the WORST haircut of my life at this salon. I showed the woman a picture of my desired cut and asked her to take off some of the damaged ends. She did that and then gave me layers that at the shortest were about 4 inches. So I now have basically a mullet because she only layered the top of my head and left the longest layer thin and mainly on the back. I will not be going back, and am very disappointed!
