The Sherwood Park News is well positioned to be the voice of Sherwood Park. Unfortunately, it fails. This may be due to the control exerted over its staff. The paper has been known to contain anonymous and damaging material in the last issue prior to a municipal election, allowing no opportunity for a response. Some councillors are frequently criticized, while others are not. The mayor is praised for taking a salary cut, but the fact that she promised to maintain it at the same amount for the duration of her term and then accepted a 7% raise is ignored. A great deal of taxpayers' money is paid to the Sherwood Park News and unbiased reporting should be expected.

Its Free which is always awesome!!! The news is usually up to date. Delivered to your door. How can you go wrong. Community Events updated always good to know about the town you live in. Great Paper
