Year-round, this is an awesome Connecticut State park. One of a few western shoreline beaches offering ample beach access. Direct road off Rt 95 exit. A renovated pavilion offers refreshments in-season. Off-season, free parking and lots of walking paths to enjoy this picture-perfect water line park. Plenty of parking with close proximity to the neach. In-season, early arrival is mandatory for good parking and beach location. Crowds frequently and parking lots fill up.

This is a great beach - -good for families and good for just sitting on the beach to read. Because many can't get into the nearby Westport's Compo Beach - this is a great choice for family, groups and celebration groups to have a picnic. The views are lovely -there is parking for 5000 - it does cost about 15 dollars to park per car from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Walks and paths are great - - there are restrooms during the summer beach season

Great location for a long walk by the beach. I prefer going when its not the "summer season" from memorial day to labor day. No crowds plus no charge to enter the park.plenty of parking and public restrooms are available.The Connecticut September 11th memorial is also here and its situated on a nice elevated spot overlooking long island sound.

Plenty of parking space. Even if crowded people do not bump into each other and entry of green space. Being from outside Conneticut, parking it's pricey $22 to $25 dollars depending on day of the week (weekdays or weekends). Great place to enjoy the day. Tables and some grills are available in the park grounds. For me...Always a great family experience. I always visit every summer. Don't forget to wear water-shoes because the shore has plenty of small rocks and broken sea shells.

place are good only down side is price. $22 IF YOU ARE no resident of CT.
