We had a really good breakfast this morning at Sherry's! My husband had The Plus and I had the pancakes with bacon. Both were delicious. The owners are friendly and attentive. Our breakfast came very quickly and the coffee was also very good! We will definitely be back!
I had gone to Sherry's with a couple of friends in October just before Thanksgiving and we where seated immediately and within a couple of minutes of us sitting down the waitress asked what we wanted to drink. Then not long after that you were asked what we wanted to eat. All in all the service is incredible and the staff is friendly and they have amazing food. I would recommend it to anybody.
My mom and I have been there a few times now and each time it has been a great experience. The owner is amazing, funny and attentive to each customer. Can get a bit busy at lunchtime but worth waiting a few minutes to have your order taken, however, food never takes long to come out. It is nice to be able to joke around with the owner, makes the visit very enjoyable. Food is fresh and delicious. Nothing fancy, just good ol' home cooking at its best. The veal cutlets are amazing!
Food was fantastic and proportions were great. Server was very friendly and engaging with our group including 2 kids and accurate with all of our orders, even with tweaks. One mistake by the kitchen was very adequately handled. If there was one complaint it might be that the music was a touch loud, but that was not enough to lower a great rating.
Came to eat out for the first time in about a year and a half and definitely wasn't as good as before. Not sure if they were short handed or not but waited a long time for our food, and was cold and way over cooked. Was AMAZING before all the covid things but definitely not up to par now. Bread had been sitting so long on the plate that it was very hard. The French toast didn't taste like French toast at all had a burnt egg taste and was hard and just didn't tastes like before. Very disappointing.
Good sized portions. Not bad pricing. The food is decent. Staff is usually pretty slow during busy times of the day. Especially dinner rush.
We eat here whenever we're in the area. We meet family for brunch so we usually stay and visit and the coffee just keeps coming. The food is always good and the server is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean. Washrooms are clean. It's a very friendly family restaurant.
Sherry's may not be a five-star, gourmet place, but I give them 5 stars. Very friendly, very family-accomodating, quick, and the food is always top-notch. If you're a burger-n-fries kind of person like I am, you'll be satisfied with them.
Love this place!!! The perfect greesy spoon. Hilarious staff, so many regulars!!!! If your uptight and only like 5star places. Don't dis them. It's the perfect neighbourhood diner. To the server who loves the the Edmonton Esk....wait nope.....Edmonton somebody's ......your Stampeders fan from Calgary!!!!! Please be open on Saturday Aug 1 Keep that Budweiser cold!!!!!
Good food, quick friendly service and a friendly atmosphere. A simple restaurant with a simple mission of providing a solid dining value. As well, the server we had was a lot of fun with a quick sense of humour.
