I was intending an indigenous conference here. It’s a beautiful building. It is so big. I think it’s a great place to have a conference. The parking is excellent even for oversize vehicles. It’s fairly affordable. I have never experienced such a kind and considerate staff from the doorman to the janitors to the servers, I I can say how much I love this place. I hope that I get into another indigenous conference here. The location couldn’t be better. The view is amazing.
My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre for two nights and we had a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, the staff was friendly and it’s in a fantastic location to check out Vancouver by foot or by cab. It’s also very beautiful outside at night with the cherry blossoms and lights in the trees right now.nnThe Starbucks in the hotel has a great, modern design and style to start your day. There is also a gorgeous 1980 Morgan Plus 8 Turbo car on display that is worth checking out. All in all, a great choice if you want to explore Vancouver, or go to a concert, like we did.
I rarely review hotels - but this one was exceptional!nnGreat price and location. OUTSTANDING service! I got everything I needed from early check-in, water bottles, utensils, extra towels. Fast and friendly to every request!
I booked a room here in February mostly because they had a pool and the price was very good. Well, I was so impressed by the property - clean, comfortable, extra amenities like umbrellas and and it was walking distance to my meetings. The attitude and service focus of everyone I met was remarkable. I am usually not the kind of guest who loves everything but this team is one to be proud of. The front desk and the valet services was so different -they were genuinely helpful. Lately I stopped tipping where it simply felt like a grab but I wished I had cash on me this time. Multiple people who made my day more positive. I'll book again in March, and bring cash.
We just left this hotel after 5 days and I have nothing but good things to say.nnI came for a work trip and brought my kiddos and a nanny with us. I had initially booked another hotel and decided to switch my reservation a couple of weeks before. We had never stayed here previously.nnFrom the time we arrived, we felt welcome. From the valet to the front desk to the manager. My kiddos are both special needs and we have stayed at many hotels. About 20-30 a year, I usually get the sense of annoyance from staff when my kids cannot stand still upon check in. Not here, my kids were provided with colouring books and teddy bears to entertain them. I had an issue with one of my cards and the manager stepped in and helped so that my kids could get up to the room and out of the noisy lobby.nnOur room had been randomly upgraded to a suite which was absolutely lovely and much needed with the amount of time we were there.nnThe pool and hot tubs were a wonderful experience and the kids definitely enjoyed and went twice a day.nnThe valet guys were lovely and entertaining. They helped with bags up to our room as well as on check out and the couple of times I was standing outside waiting once for the nanny and once for my kiddos, they engaged in conversation to entertain me.nnThe tree lights in the garden were absolutely beautiful.nnMy only critique would be that upon arrival there was a used towel and robe in one closet but as a previous hotel manager, I am aware that things happen and that didn’t disrupt our stay at all.
