I had an amazing experience with Dr. Jay Shephard! It was my first time visiting a chiropractor and he made the experience exceptional. He was very efficient and made sure I understood what was going on inside my body as well as why he was making the adjustments he was. I had neck and head pain for about a week now and he was able to make me feel great after leaving the first session! He put my mind at ease and made me feel relaxed and safe to be getting adjusted by him. He has worked with many athletes including the Flames and Stamps. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jay Shephard!

From the front desk ladies to Dr Jay, Shephard health is amazing. Very personable, extremely knowledgeable. Care was first rate. Felt like a new person when I walked out. Dr. Jay asked a lot of questions to see what was going on and explained everything he was going to do and why. My daughter now sees Dr Jay, I think that explains how great he is. One of the best clinics in the city, hands down. Jay and his staff are some of the kindest, most attentive and accommodating people out there. Dr. Shephard is one of the friendliest business owners I know and its so apparent he truly loves what he does and the people he gets to help. His clinic is run like a well-oiled machine, and it’s clear that every person - whether staff or patient - is there because they genuinely want to be. I couldn’t be happier with my choice in chiropractic care.

I have been under the care of Dr. Jay and his fabulous staff for two weeks, having been diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, and given no good prognosis from specialists. His treatment, care and compassion, have been exceptional! I now have feeling and movement returning to my face!! I am so grateful to him and his team for this excellent care and I recommend his practice to everyone who needs help and hope! He’s amazing! Don’t despair- he can- and will help!

Dr Shepard takes the time to evaluate injuries and needs and, if necessary, recommends protocols to ensure his treatment plans are on point and safe eg if necessary, he will recommend imaging before attempting treatment.  He uses a number of modalities to compliment his chiropractic treatments.  It is clear he really cares about achieving a positive outcome.

Dr. Jay knows his stuff very well. He was the only health professional who could fix my shin injury. He always goes out of his way to make sure I and all the other patients I saw got the most effective and personalized treatment possible. I could also tell that he was genuinely interested in getting to know me personally; in just a few treatments, it felt like we were old pals. For anything related to health, wellness, or performance, Dr. Jay is your guy.

While traveling to Calgary I experienced severe back pain.  Dr. Shepherd was recommend by a close friend and even though I didn’t have an appointment he was able to take from his busy schedule to see me.  I was very nervous as I had never been to a chiropractor before. Dr. Shepherd walked me through his diagnoses and recommended treatment; he answered all my questions and concerns and put my mind at ease before treating me.   If I were a local resident of Calgary I would go back to Dr. Shepherd’s clinic on a regular basis  - highly recommend Jay for treatment!!!

I had severe lower back pain for nearly a year and tried many things including physio, another chiropractor, and doctors visits. Nothing worked and things felt hopeless. Then I was referred to Jay at Shepard Health by a friend and he immediately got me in same day to evaluate.  He gave me an immediate action plan and explained exactly what was causing the pain and how we were going to start fixing it with precise steps and how we would progress to alleviate the issue going forward. It was a huge relief to finally have a plan forward, and it worked!  From unable to move to fully functional in such a short time has been a blessing. Jay and his team are friendly, organized, knowledgeable, and 100% dedicated to your health.  This dude cares!  Thank you so much!

My daughter and I have been going to Shepard's Health for a few years now. I am so happy with and grateful for the experience and service that we always receive. Dr Jay is an absolutely incredible chiropractor and I recommend him to my friends and family often. Katie, Karis, Julia and all of the other supportive staff are also very welcoming and professional. As a lifelong athlete it is comforting to have the peace of mind of a great team supporting me throughout all of the phases and stages of my training and performance. I used to go to a different therapist for 6 months and no improvements. Came here for the same Low Back Pain problem and after three treatments, daily pain is now gone. Treatment here is very effective. The staff are very kind, friendly, and gentle. They are very flexible to book you an appointment matching your schedule. The doctor himself? An amazing guy, he’s compassionate, empathic, very easy to talk to. He’s skilled and educated as he has been doing his profession for 30+ years
