September 2024nI went to the Shenkman Open House for their 15-year anniversary party. Well organized and a lot to do with families. I found the backstage tour very interesting which was led by an employee.
What a great venue. I’ve seen countless performances from Sons of Scotland Pipe band to the OCSB Children’s Choir to many Jorgen Ballet performances and a whole bunch of dance performances. Not a bad view from any seat. I’ve sat everywhere from front row to very top row, and almost everywhere in between. Bar service is expedient and reasonably priced.
Top notch theatre. Staff, crew and volunteers all wonderful. State of these art facility. Every seat in the theatre is a great seat. Our band, Green River Revival were thoroughly impressed and treated wonderfully!
Have only been a few times, for art shows. The place where they've had them is wide enough to accomodate people with mobility devices and social distancing, clean and well labeled. The elevators and washrooms are spacious enough to accommodate bigger people.
