My friend took me here as she was impressed with the service her mother in law was given. Treated very well she said. But she was also impressed by the building itself as its very old & was originally run my the church. So she wanted to show me their very impressive church they have inside. Very historical. Of course the art work was beautiful. But I loved how the hallways was made larger to be able to accommodate wheelchairs & even beds.
I was in readaptation at Hotel Dieu for 4 months. And last year I stayed 2 months. But this last experience was memorable. It was great. The food is good but the staff is amazing! They are some of the kindest people I ever met. You can see that they want to help people and theyre always friendly. Now that I'm home, honestly I miss them. If you, a family member or friend needs it, if they can get there, they won't regret it. I wish I could stay longer
My mother was admitted to this CHSLD over a month ago now. She was in an institution before, a CHSLD and an RI in another region and the quality of care provided had nothing to do with that of the Hôtel Dieu. My family and I are impressed by the quality of care provided by the entire team of the Market unit doctor, nurses, auxiliary nurses, PAB and service assistants, by the kindness and kindness +++ of the staff . Thanks also to the maintenance team because it is always very clean. Thank you very much for everything. Claudette Sirard family
Thank you to the CHSLD team, market unit, who in less than 10 minutes came to our rescue. Went out for a walk with my father in a wheelchair to the Palais park, a park near the center, a wheel problem appeared. Following my call, rapid actions were taken and appropriate assistance given. So hats off to the team and particularly to the two service assistants :
Establishment that has existed for a long time in St-Hyacinthe. The majority of staff are very attentive and respectful of patients. Even during the pandemic and with a shortage of employees, care remains very adequate and of high quality. The staff listens to patients and their families, it's so important.
