Dear Manager,nnI am writing to bring forward concerns regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your gas station. This incident was particularly frustrating as it represents the third occasion where I have experienced confusion or issues related to fuel transactions at this location.nnUpon arriving at the station, I entered the store and requested a pre-authorization of $25.00 for 93-octane fuel. The attendant processed the pre-authorization on my card, and I then returned to my vehicle and pumped $20.05 worth of fuel.nnAfter fueling, I went back into the store and simply requested a receipt for the $20.05 transaction. The attendant asked whether the entire $25.00 had been used. I advised that it had not and that the transaction amount was $20.05. The attendant then asked if I wanted to pre-authorize the transaction again. I explained that I had already completed a $25.00 pre-authorization and only required a receipt for the fuel I had already purchased.nnAt that point, a second employee, who had not been involved in the original transaction, joined the conversation and questioned whether I had actually paid for the fuel. I was told that I needed to prove that payment had been made and was instructed to retrieve my phone from my quad to show evidence of the transaction.nnWhile reflecting on the situation, it became apparent that the concern raised by staff did not align with how the fuel pump system operates. Staff suggested that only $2.50 had been authorized rather than $25.00. However, if only $2.50 had been authorized, the pump would not have allowed me to dispense $20.05 worth of fuel. The fact that the pump permitted the transaction demonstrates that an authorization sufficient to cover the fuel purchase had already been approved by the system.nnThroughout my interaction with staff, I remained polite and professional while attempting to resolve what should have been a simple request for a receipt. I will admit that I was frustrated as I left the store, particularly after feeling that my honesty was being questioned despite having completed a legitimate transaction.nnMy concern is not with a single mistake or misunderstanding, as these things can happen. Rather, it is that this is now the third occurrence where there has been confusion regarding transactions at this location. Being asked to prove that I had paid for fuel that had already been dispensed was both unnecessary and disappointing, particularly when the transaction could likely have been verified through the store's point-of-sale system.nnI hope this feedback can be used constructively to review transaction procedures and provide additional staff training where necessary. Customers should be able to obtain receipts and resolve routine transaction questions without being placed in a position where they feel accused of wrongdoing.nnThank you for your time and attention to this matter. I would appreciate your review of this incident and any steps that may be taken to prevent similar situations in the future.nnSincerely,nnBrian
Usually good priced gas. So the people that work there kind and courteous and I usually shop there when I can
Poor service and language barrier. Maybe try hiring some locals to serve at the counter.
I used to enjoy getting my gas here, but recently they've made it so you have to go inside and prepay before getting gas. There's plenty of other gas stations where I can use my airmiles without being inconvenienced by this. Punish the people who steal by reporting their license plates with the cameras you have, don't punish the legitimate customers. Last time I visit.nn*EDIT* After posting this review, this gas station reported a fraudulent claim against me to the police.
Worst experience ever!!! Was in there the other day, Very rude and unprofessional. You’re also not allowed to use the washroom unless you’re a paying customer. Since when? Seems as if it’s under new ownership with the way they treat people. STAY AWAY
