For a gas station and convenience store, this place is fine. They even sell fresh pickled cucumbers. Bathroom is generally clean.

I was really mad about my experience here the other day. I was on my way home from a long trip. Needed to put a little more gas in the tank if my rental car and specifically asked for $15 regular. When I got my receipt it was $32. They had filled my tank. Normally I wouldn't have been so upset but we only had a little money left and the gas went to a rental car and so I wasn't even going to be using the gas I paid for. I confronted the person inside and they just gave me a blank stare. Said they couldn't do anything but call a tow truck to take the gas out and it would be 2 hours. I said, but you messed up... There isn't anything else you can do? They all just stared at me. It makes me mad that I asked for something specific and they were to busy talking to pay attention. But it makes me furious that even when the mistake was made they didn't want to make it right. They didn't care.

The place is right next to the hood river bridge that cost one dollar in cash to cross to the Washington side. They don't do cashback at the register and the ATM charges $2.50. So you have to buy something after you get cash in order to get a dollar to go across the bridge. You think they'd be a little more helpful and not try to gauge people's pocket
