Hidden speed cameras with no posted signs, we made the mistake of passing through this stupid little town and they sent us a ticket for doing 50 in a 40, like really? on a Saturday? where are the posted signs? We were just going with the traffic and thats the speed everyone was doing. Imagine the daytime robbery they are running here. I just re checked street view and there are no signs posted. We will make sure to never visit this town again and hope the worst happens for this township. Be in ruins.
Wish town had better solution for traffic. Lots of people from city who travel to the second highest tourist destination in Ontario Saugeen Penninsula.nnShelburne is a funnel which can be easily viewed on google map which the route from the GTA to the Penninsula is very inconvenient to take any other route surrounding or even in Shelburne.nnTown needs a bypass around your “sensitive” zone / downtown if you’re going to create speed zone of 40.nnPeople are going to catch on and take alternative routes.
The speed cameras use have installed to take advantage of the public is a disgrace, put someone in office that doesn't take advantage of the public the way this council is. But I guess someone has to pay for all the new infrastructure for your greedy claws.
Shelburne are abusers of the speed camera. Setting speed to a ridiculously low 40km/h on a main road with no schools, then sending out expensive tickets out for going slightly over the limit INADVERTENTLY is abuse of the technology, in my opinion. We will NEVER spend another cent in that little town, not even for fuel! And we go through Shelburne often!nnYOUR GREED, YOUR STUPIDITY, YOUR LOSS, Shelburne!
The receptionist was helpful. Sign for one client at a time, is great for privacy, but clients don't respect it 100%, they keep on chitchat with the receptionist, neglecting the waiting person, which is not nice. This should be controlled more by the receptionist. Should apply seats outside for the waiting area, for seniors or moms with children.
