The doctor was able to help pretty quickly the one other time i went and wait times are quick however All staff members are incredibly rude. Specially when dealing with embarrassing health problems. The security guard doesnt ask covid questions and power trips 247. If any one has these problems. Security companies are 3rd party companies and the security company is obligated by law to give you said security guards name if yur able to find the company. Legally under no circumstances are they allowed to touch you. The hospital won't help you so contact the security company directly. Just take note of the location, time, and date. It's a pretty big red flag that they HAVE to tell people not to be aggressive on their voicemail. Why does this only happen at your hospital
I have had better experiences at other clinics. This one is closer to me but I won't be returning. The admin staff are meh. The Dr I had both times was Giles Malenfant and both times he was in and out as fast as he could with his chauky attitude. This time I went in with what I think is bronchitis but he deemed sinus infection without even doing a throat swab. If someone is sick, show like you actually care for more than just a paycheck. He shoved a prescription at me and out the door he went. I will be going to another place tomorrow to get checked properly including a throat swab. Last time, I have been having a hard time with my knee and went to get checked. Twisted my leg a few times and sent a request off for an Xray. He told me to call in to schedule an appt to get the results. So that is what I did and the admin staff said he will call me with the results. Xray was Dec 19. Today is Jan 15. Admin staff and drs might want to get on the same page with what you tell the patients. Dr. MALENFANT would do well to takes some courses on client relations and etiquette. You would think that with the massive paycheque he gets for less than 5 min appointments, he would be much more caring and personable. Please remember, WE, the taxpayers, pay your paycheques. I am losing all hope with the government Healthcare.
Typical government organization. Un-organized, not very helpfull, and bad culture...I asked if I could get a covid test for work and was told to go online and wait a week for an appointment. I asked for a rapid test, miserably the lady told me the same thing. The kits are just sitting there you can't give me one to take home? Im sick, wanting to know what's going on, so I can inform my work and not get others sick. Instead the goverments representative the nurse was short, not helpful and acting like im inconveniencing her. I was the only person there, I rang the buzzer like asked to on the enternce and from the initial contact the nurse was, rude / miserable to deal with. I explained without the test I would be expected to go to work and could get other people sick. The lady literally shrugged her shoulders at me and didn't care. Great ethics and representation. You would think a covid rapid test would be alittle easier to obtain. Not waiting so long for the product your already better. This is a prime example of another provinces over complicated, over burdened, failing medical system. We as Canadians are all slowly going to find out the true value of our "free" medical care.
Made an app't on Fri .. booked so booked for Sat; showed up at designated time was out in 30min . ER wait times are way to long and ER doctors dont really care. 1/2 of Moncton walk in clinics closed perm. due to staffing shortage. French security guard .. priceless .. no one gets in without an app't .
Horrible service and experience. The little French woman security guard was completely rude and hated that I wasn’t French… someone should tell her just like I did that she’s abusing “security guard authority” lol The people at the front counter looked like they didn’t even wanna be there and it was just a miserable experience. I understand healthcare is a mess but wow man show some class.
Never had a problem with the staff or the doctors, but since covid, they are always full on appointments and it just tells you to call back the next day.
The worst clinic ever... the medical system in NB is atrocious. Called over 30 times with a direct busy signal. They answered the phone and said 'could you hold please' ....on hold for 22 minutes. When she comes back she says ' sorry we are fully booked today... when you answered the phone the first time you couldn't have taken 2 seconds to say sorry we are full today. Unreal
I've never had a problem at The Shediac Clinic since I began to attend there to see a Doctor. Yes, I've waited quite awhile too but waiting doesn't bother me whatsoever, even if it's an emergency. When they notice something wrong, they treat the patient or they will call an Ambulance if needed. I love this Clinic and every Doctors and Staff Members too. They're very kind and they need respect also. I've been going to this Clinic for over 4 years when needed and no severe problems .
Been twice now. Fast in and out and the nurses and doctors seem to actually care and listen to you. I am so far impressed given the state of our medical system.
Good clinic but hard to get a hold of on the phone.. stayed on hold for 35 mins had to hang up and re dial and waited another 10 mins before speaking to someone
