Sheboygan Town & Country Club

Looks like a great place for a wedding reception! Our daughter was there for a reception of a college swim team and house mate. They had a good time for sure.

This is the course I played the most when I was first learning the game and where I took lessons for 3 or 4 years. They have 27 holes that all very well kept and the Riverwoods nine can be extremely challenging. T&C is reasonably priced and golf shop is one of the largest in the state.

Town and country gets worse every year. Non stop outings, double bookings, and clueless pro shop employees. I can't even count on both hands the number of times I called a day or two ahead to book a tee time, then the day arrives we show up and they dont even have us in the system. What's worse is that they won't even offer you a discount for the inconvenience. I have even called later in the week to confirm, then the day arrives and they either want to partner us up or they have an outing and 9 holes is going to take 4 hours. Their attitudes visually show they don't care either. Also, you have 3 courses (4 now that they bought riverdale). If I ask for a tee time and you say you are booked then I ask about Riverwoods and you say sure what time, that doesn't mean you are booked. Also, last time we went we didn't want to wait for the outings (plus if you have an outing why even book us in the first place), so we asked about Riverwoods and we were told there was an outing there too. We had them refund our money and went somewhere else. This was after calling twice (once to book and once to confirm) As we drove past riverwoods, not a single vehicle was in the parking lot. Gee thanks. So to get to the 2 stars, they do have decent food. Erica and Hannah are great employees. They work hard and make me feel like an appreciated customer. I would recommend the pork chop sandwich with cheese on a hard roll for food. I do like going out to town and country, but it's just more and more BS every time you enter that pro shop. Nobody in there has a CLUE what is going on. I have gone out about 45 times this year already, but have only done town and country about 5 of those times due to their lack of customer service (besides food and drink). I am sure they make more money having outtings, so it makes sense, but my review isn't about an outing experience.

Come up from Orlando Fl each year in June to visit family and do Corvette "drive around" in Fond du lac. Spend about 2 weeks in Sheboygan and play golf almost every day. Town and Country is my favorite course, play 90% of the rounds there. Condition is always good, greens drive me crazy with speed and read and coming from Fla, I love the ups and downs.
