Really enjoyed the course. It was maintained well, but the greens were firm and pretty fast compared to what I'm used to. The pins were also the closest to the edge of a green I've ever played at a public course. It does require some course management but adds to the fun. All of the staff we interacted was nice and helpful. Has a full driving range right next to clubhouse and first tee. Price was a tad high, but not enough to deter me from going back again for how enjoyable it was overall.
The best course conditions I have played all season. A very challenging layout with fast greens.
I'm a downtowner so I didn't enjoy the hour-long drive to Shawneeki, but what a nice golf course. Super practice areas, friendly and welcoming club house/restaurant/bar and a challenging course with great scenery. Not long, with wide fairways, but impeccably groomed with tricky and fast greens. Great bunkers with some of the best sand I've seen at a public course. I won't make a weekly visit to Shawneeki, but I'll be back for sure.
If I could leave 0 stars I would, not very reasonable showed up 5 minutes late as a twosome and was greeted with attitude from the lady in the clubhouse. We tried.our best to reason with them and said we would go behind the next group out but there just wasn't any reasoning with them. I'm very disappointed as I golfed here often but now they won't see another dollar out of me. Happy golfing hope this review helps to steer business elsewhere.
By far one of the best courses around. Hats off to the grounds keepers, impeccable job on fairways and greens. Wish they had memberships, can be tough to get tee times need to book at least 7 days in advance.
It was the different between heaven and hell. I am no kidding. Shawneeki have very polite staffs working around the course to maintain top notch condition. Excellent green, fairways. Comparing I was playing Tuesday at Lakeridge GC which they did not care to pick up garbages around the course. It was a very unpleasant feeling. Green was shxtty and fairways looks like they never water it at all. Very disappointing. Same comments after I played today here and past Sunday at Lakeridge. Can't compare. Shawneeki far far better! Sept 25, 22 Raining but still in excellent shape, by far the best course compared to other public courses. The drainage system is excellent. Love it.
First time golfing in years, first time at this course. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice grounds, a bit challenging for a beginner but will definitely be back!
Beautiful course for the price. They maintain the course in excellent condition. Greens are fast and well maintained. Fairways are in really good shape. There's some amazing views in the back nine. A relatively narrow course that challenges you to keep it in the fairway.
Very well maintained course. It provides a very nice challenge from the back tees, while being plenty easy enough from the blues and reds. Would definitely recommend playing here. They save all the great views for the back 9 by the way.
nice course but poorly marshalled! stuck behind a 4 ball for 12 holes. was told twice by the marshall he would tell them to let us play through. nothing was ever done very poor marshalling id find a new one we wont be back!
