Good food, great value! Ordered the beef shawarma combo with fries at pop. 18$ w/tax. Wrap is quite loaded and stuffed in size, nice hot tangy hot sauce, fries were a bit plain. Absolutely filling meal. I wanted to order the rice plate but was a bit higher in price than I wanted to pay today; however, after seeing other orders in person, they fully load this take out container. I will be back to try more menu items. Restaurant is clean, order and customer service great, and food taste and price is at the right value.
They are a local Shawarma stop located on Highway 7 and Woodbine. Their menu offers a selection of wraps, plates, burgers, apps and more! What made our experience memorable was the great customer service by the owners. They were kind, smiling, and seemed to really appreciate every customer for supporting them. We ordered the chicken shawarma plate, and compared to a few places I’ve been to, their portion was pretty big. There was a good amount of chicken shawarma ratio to rice. Overall it tasted great, and if I could add improvements, it would be to have the pita wrap that came with the plate to be toasted, and to have a garlic paste. They had a garlic sauce but was on the creamier side, similar to creamy garlic consistency. I would definitely come back to support them again, and you should to IG: Ayenomz
HUGE portions and a great mix of rice, salad and protein. I think the chicken could be a bit more tender and juicy and the sauces and dressings could have a slightly stronger flavouring. But for the price and portion, this is a great option in Markham for schwarma. I was a huge Me Va Me fan but over the pandemic, I found their quality and portion size to decrease that their dishes aren't as enjoyable so I might come here for my next schwarma craving because of the balance between price and portion size.
Loaded with beef, I couldn't ask for more to satisfy my craving for shawarma. The vegetables are crispy fresh and the accompanying rice was full of flavor. The staff also greeted and served me nicely. Great!
First time ordering from here.. in my honest review.. I felt the quantity given was good.. but completely lacked flavour.. I haven't eaten at a middle eastern restaurant that didn't even have flavour in the sauces or pickles. Very surprised at the reviews.. I guess works for ppl who like more plain food. Updated review, June 28/22 — lackluster visit today. Unfortunately I did go in 10-15 minutes to them closing as I was on my way home from an MRI in Toronto and live in Oshawa. The look the older woman gave my sister and I upon entering should have turned us around. She clearly didn't want anymore customers or profits for the day. The older male was friendly, polite and kind as he always has been. He seems like a sweet, kind person. Customer service aside... even the food is unfortunately no longer worth 5 stars in my opinion. My mix salad for $17+ was lackluster in flavor and even portion size again, this is compared to my previous/original review. We ordered some falafel to try as my mom is vegetarian... the texture and flavor leave much to be desired. Even the baklava was no longer as good as it once was — this time it was dry and lacking flavor and syrup/honey. I think this is my sign to give other shawarma eateries in the area a chance. Previous review — Absolutely delicious shawarma! I was pleasantly blown away by the portion that came on my salad!
Shawarma Salad is LOADDEDD with chicken. P.S - regarding the picture, i personally chose mine to have no sauce but im sure it looks better with the sauces!
Generous portions and delicious shawarma along with friendly / down-to-earth folks running the place. Can’t go wrong with this place!
The best shawarma in GTA! A bit pricey but worth the value. Portions are great and I would highly recommend this shawarma spot!
Best shawarma place I’ve ever tried! Not only is the food delicious and fresh the staff are extremely sweet. The owner and his wife are very kind and always a smile on their face and their daughter is just as great. 100% worth it!
