I’m impressed! Great experience and food. I order a party tray for 6 people. The whole group loved the mixed grill and this is a very picky crowd to please. The meats were well seasoned, portions were good. The lentil soup was fresh but a little on the bland side, nothing a little salt/pepper wouldn’t fixed. The place inside was very clean and looked well maintained. That’s impressive considering the size of the kitchen and building. The women who worked the front was very accommodating and nice. I’m looking forward to future meals at the Schwarma Station.
Came in right after they opened, it was a 15 minute wait for great food. The chicken and beef schwarma were good although they did leak through the tin foil as i ate. All in all i would definitly recommend this to anyone who wants an inexpensive entry to this style of food.
Just spent over 50.00 on one chicken kabob meal, hummus with chicken & a dolma meal. Chicken was dry & over cooked, hummus chicken was dry & old, dolma was suppose to be 10 pieces but some were so tiny & broken up, they also tasted very strange and I’ve eaten them at several places with no issues! Too much spice of some kind & the grape leaves were dried up and hard! Very dissappointing! Won’t be going back!!
No bread came with hummus order. No garlic provided with shawarma sandwich. Called to ask if it could be delivered and was told no, but I could come pick it up. Asked to speak with manager and was told no manager was there. Macomb county we deserve better from this company.
Ordered a “tray” of food, which was literally a large tray of yellow rice with a thin, superficial layer of meat to make it appear impressive. It’s a facade. The tray is almost $40 and barely fed 2 men. It comes with “soup” which is nasty. It’s tomato paste water with a single potato in it, or a table spoons of white beans. The hummus is insanely thick and dry, and it tastes canned, metallic, with no garlic, tahini, or lemon flavor. I garauntee they get it in giant cans. And forget about getting pink pickled turnips.. you get yellow pickled cabbage and it is NOT an acceptable alternative, it’s just cheaper. Another way for them to save money. People who have little no experience eating quality middle eastern cuisine may not notice the difference, but this place is not palatable. Don’t be fooled by the giant mound of rice, you’re not getting quality food.
Food is delicious, massive portions for the money. The 2 person combo is fantastic value. Very very authentic, absolute go-to. Weve been ordering from here for a while and NEVER would I call their food dry.
Food is reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. The menu is very inviting. I really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka, kabobs, rice, and cream chop. My shawarma and hummus were a bit dry and the tabbouleh was really salty.
The combo plate for two was delicious!! There wasn’t anything we didn’t love. Food was perfect for our picky eaters too! I hope this restaurant does well! I’ll be a regular!
I thought the service and food was delicious. I'll be definitely ordering from them again. It's the only authentic place around. I got a meal, and that will last me 2 more plates. Plenty of food for the price!
Ordered a three person combo. Rice is good and a huge portion of it. Meat was warm and dry. The most disappointing part was the bread was not fresh. When old hard bread is put with dry meat you need alot of water!
