Shawarma 401

If I could give this place no stars that would be better. Because I'm tired of giving this place the benefit of the doubt. They ruin shawarma name. Every time I go to this place, I find myself eating the sandwich in a plate with a fork and a knife. The wrap crumbles every single time, it is a complete disaster. It breaks apart even though there's very little sauce in it. My family and I really miss the old owners, please come back North Oshawa really needs you.

We've just recently discovered this restaurant near us and have already been a couple of times. The staff are all friendly and fantastic and the food is delicious! It's a great value - we've gotten the family special both times and it'll feed a small army! We're definitely turning this into a go to place!

401 Shawarma is hands down one of the greatest shawarma spots in ONTARIO. They are my favourite shawarma spot in the Durham region and above shawarma empire. Their garlic sauce is out of this world. Especially after Covid they have kept consistent prices. 10$ for a large shawarma sounds expensive. But that shawarma is more filling than a footlong subway sandwich. The meat the vegetable ratio is amazing compared to any other shawarma spots I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend! The staff here are also amazing.

Gross. Watery, flavourless, and the chicken tasted like rotisserie. Why people think this place is good is beyond me. This place is not worth it. I rather the store bought shawarma and that is discussing as well and the tomato doesn’t even look like tomato. How does this have high reviews???

Absolutely fantastic food Rice had perfect amount of spice Sauces are delicious Chicken is very good Little on the pricey side but the portion I got was massive, at least two meals worth Good baklava too

Had a bad experience today. Got shawarma and chicken was undercooked. I even told the guy while he was shaving off the chicken that it seems not cooked as it was totally white but he said it should be ok. After making shawarma he didn’t even warmed the wrap on grill but just packed it and gave it to me. I’ll never go to this place again.

Shawarma 401 is the best in town. I've recommended by brother in law here and he is a firm believer. The food is always fresh and generous portions. I recently grabbed take out due me and wife just recently had a child and haven't had the time to cook but my wife was craving Shawarma 401. The staff are always friendly. Best in town! Ķeep up the great food guys!

Great restaurant. My wife and I eat here regularly for the great food, large portions and friendly staff. When I walk in, I am immediately greeted by the staff who proceed to ask how I am doing. Our lunch is so plentiful that we usually have enough left over for dinner. My wife even commented today how impressed she was that they use real olive oil on their hummus. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an affordable and tasty meal.

I wish i could give them 10 stars. This was the first time coming here and I’ll definitely be back. The food is fresh, flavourful and big portions. The people who work there are so kind and generous. They even remember customers and your order, I only know cause there was a line behind us and he told them there orders before they even have to say anything. Now I know why every time I passed by there is a lineup, it’s EXCELLENT food and customer service.

One of the best place to get shawarma in Oshawa. The staffs are super friendly. The food is extremely tasty. Falafels were really fresh.
