This Shari's was pretty standard. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff. We came on a Saturday morning and they were busy. Only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated. Food was just ok. Hash browns had No flavor , the steak had a charred flavor. Nothing spectacular. Decent sized portions for the price. The pie was good.
We stopped on our way back home from the mountains we visited for the Christmas holidays. The staff are very gracious and welcomed us. They showed us a place to sit for all 4 of us including 2 kids in that one is a toddler. It was below freezing below ~20° F outside and this place was warm and very comfortable to dine in. They have multiple menu items and we ordered pan cakes and Burgers. If you are a vegetarian, they have an option to substitute with an impossible burger option. Just make sure to mention no meats and the staff will make sure you get what you want. We all enjoyed our meal and they were tasty. We couldn't try any other options they have like pies or beverages/drinks due to less time we had for our break. I recommend this place to all who are looking for options while on their way home or going to vacation or any kind of travel or if you are visiting this town/staying for any reason. FYI: There are multiple other businesses along with gas stations to choose.
Oscar was a diamond in the ruff stuck with grumpy waitresses . He was super polite and fulfilled a complicated order to the T. Food was soooooo good and obviously the pies are to die for!!!
Had supper last night & it wasn't the best... but the service was excellent & we were well taken care of. This morning we had an amazing breakfast & fantastic service. Our server was incredible!!!
In the past, Shari was a good place to go for good food at a fair price. Of course, naturally, due to inflation, prices are higher. But, the portions have become smaller. To raise prices while lowering portion sizes is ridiculous and a terrible business model. My lemon chicken featured two small cutlets about 2 inches by 2 inches, and my friend who orders the salmon got a small strip of it. I’ve orders lemon chicken before, and I’ve had the salmon before, and they were larger sizes. No, we didn’t order from the “lite” value part of the menu, and on a scale of 1-10, where 1 is very hungry and 10 is full and satisfied, we are at 3.5. We pretty much have to go out and eat somewhere else, after paying a pretty penny for appetizers masquerading as entrees. What are you doing? What’s wrong? How do you justify such small portions for higher prices? I hope others speak up as well. Get it together Shari, giving people less value for more money is unacceptable. Other than the economic scam that they and other restaurants are trying pull, the food is good and the pies are excellent. They haven’t tried to reduce those yet.
Awesome service, the pancakes are super fluffy and filling. The bacon is crisp and the fries are fresh.
Labor day. Restaurant was full, but no line. It took 20 minutes to give our order, 40 minutes to cook it, 10 minutes to eat it, 10 minutes to get the check. It is very nice to sit down to enjoy a good meal at a restaurant next to the freeway, but taking nearly 90 minutes consumes too much of a day in transit. I will be looking for a restuarant with a quicker response time. I will return for the good food, but will not be doing it during a transit day.
The staff was very nice but our food sat in the pickup window for at least 10 min and our server had sweat dripping off their face and almost into the food. I was worried they were having a heart attack. Once we got our food, it was mostly warm an tasted good. May have just been an off Tuesday. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian selections and Impossible sausage. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
I had the prime rib, and it was great! My only complaint was I found the pice slices a bit on the small side, but so be it. I’ll go back again. Much better food than truckers normally find easily available.
Considering I came to Shari's cafe mid breakfast hour on a Saturday, the customer service was excellent. Promptly seated, food ordered, and the delivery meeting every expectation, Shari's cafe off I-90, in Moses Lake, WA, earns a return visit in the future. Despite the loud table next to me harboring several children, which was slightly tolerable, Shari's was the perfect morning meal to satisfy a hungry stomach. Thank you for your operations Shari's.
