A peaceful picnic spot along the Sky to Sea highway going to Whistler / Vancouver. The falls are quite serene and lots of spots to enjoy the fall by sitting on the rocks and dipping your feet in the flowing water. Lots of picnic benches for a family picnic and decent washrooms. The serenity and green space will stay in your memories for long. It is a busy place so small little parking lot fills up quickly but people move out fast too so you can find parking easily. Highly recommend
Beautiful waterfalls, very powerful sound. It has nice trails to explore, a little bit steep so be aware if you are travelling with seniors. It has a lookout which is accessible . Clean washrooms. Plenty of picnic area, so grab your snack and come in!
Amazingly peaceful and great views, just located on the way to Whistler. Nice stop from the long drive to get some fresh air, beautiful views and also not much trek or walk required to go to the falls. Parking available for free. Washrooms also in location.
Nice stop in Squamish. Great views, plenty of space for picnics and decent washrooms. Free parking. Has other trails that you can explore. Short walk to the falls but a little steep so keep eye out with kids and seniors.
Made a pit stop while chasing waterfalls on our way up the mountain, totally worth a quick stop to stretch the legs or hunker down and take your time to explore more of the space then just the first view point. Would highly recommend to anyone else who might have a good time. The first view point of the pathway is easy with slight incline. Lots of onsite car, RV and bus parking.
A must stop along the Sea to Sky Highway. We stopped at Shannon Falls during winter season December in the morning on our way to Whistler from Vancouver. Lots of parking and easy access from the highway. The parking lot was empty when we visited. The distance to the falls from parking lot is short. Great spot for photos and video. Waterfall is so beautiful!!!
Obviously I had to stop and take a look at this water fall that has my name and I'm happy I did, it was beautiful! Will stop again in the future and spend more time walking the paths available. It's truly a beautiful area!! Clean washrooms available as well
Lovely falls with good flow of water, went yesterday during the sea to sky highway drive, don't miss this falls in you're driving through this highway. Falls is hardly 5 minutes from the parking lot, the park is well maintained with lot of places for kids to play, lot of tables for dining, decent enough of restrooms as well. Parking spots are less in number, you can park your car on the opposite side of road and walk as well.
Beautiful place where you can enjoy fresh air and the sound of the music that comes from the waterfall. It's a good place to have some relaxing time. Highly recommend if you are visiting BC especially if you are on your way to Whistler, you can make it as stop on your way.
A nice little spot for a break while passing through. It's quick to access and is only a short walk there and back. I wouldn't recommend Shannon Falls as a destination to visit but rather somewhere to visit while going to another event for the day. The parking is horrible at the parking lot however there is another parking lot on the other side of the highway that had lots of room.
