My husband and I are here for a visit from Ontario and our 3 year old son became sick. We believe he has an ear infection and simply needed a doctor to quickly look at his ear and throat so we could have him treated, if needed, before flying back home. We walked into the medical Center and were turned away because we are not a regular patients. There wasn’t a single person in the waiting room not ONE and it would have only taken the doctor, who was clearly available, just a few minutes to check our son. It’s very disappointing that they couldn’t have made an exception for sick little boy under those circumstances, given they were not busy at the time. To top it all off, when we asked if there was another walk-in or urgent care clinic we could visit, we were told the only other option was the emergency room at the hospital, where we’d spend hours to get him seen. Very incompassionate and inconsiderate. Truly disappointing.
