This is maybe my third or fourth time here, it's a bit pricey, but for the area the food is great. The owners are super nice too, even though they turned our party of 13 away when we had reservations for 10 because they wouldn't be able to serve us. This time, I called to make sure they weren't on winter hours yet closed : mon,tues,wed and yes they had room. The terrace is small and closed off with plastic, so they let us sit inside where it is quieter. Lovely ambiance here, some nice artwork around. The homemade punch is very good too, and so is the rest of the food. Even though this time I found a hair on my plate we tried the calamari, dumplings, Tao, shrimp rice & ribs, this time. It was delicious try both soups. It's a hidden gem in this town for sure.
A great experience with family: the place is by the water, the view and the food are marvelous; a unique Thai experience.

This restaurant definitely caters to the local tastes. If you’re Asian, don’t expect to find very authentic flavours here…stick to the general tsao chicken. Overall, the food is decent but overpriced. The ambiance and staff are lovely.
Chilled out evening at Shand Thai! Went there with my son on his recommendation while visiting Oka. Alert and polite staff! Nice spacious layout and tasteful Decor. We ordered soups and a raw papaya salad followed by main course of a vegetarian dish with coconut milk gravy and a chicken dish both were served with rice. Sumptuous portions. Super spicy and Super tasty. Absolutely recommend. Second visit for my son and first for me. Will surely visit again. Thank you for the Wonderful Hot Meal
Went there yesterday with my wife. The ambiance was awesome and the staff too. The menu is too big but the food was good. It's right at the marina so if you have a boat, it's a good place to anchor. The views you get from the terrace is the Lac with a lot of sailboat. Quite a nice view.
Delicious food and excellent service. I enjoy my meals here and good times on the terrasse. Be sure to RSVP for the best spots.
Great restaurant with a beautiful view. I ate here Friday night, August 17th with my family, we thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience, the food was fantastic and the service was top notch. Another point to be made, the owner greeted and thanked each and every guest that night with a smile and a hand shake, classy all the way. We will be back in the near future.
