Hands down one of the tastiest and most delicious vegan food I’ve ever had here!! My go to is the half-half plate of the shawarma and the shish taouk along with their vegan poutine! Their gravy sauce and potato wedges are amazing!! I decided to try their falafel and they were pretty decent as well! Will definitely recommend to friends and family to come here!! Can’t wait to come here again!!
Wandered the Jean-Talon Market and noticed the vegan fare lacking. Thankfully Sham is right around the corner and does it ever satisfy. We shared the poutine and the General Tao wrap. Portions excellent for the price point, price very comfortable. Delicious, flavourful, fresh and filling. Highly recommend, and will be back. Picture due to excellent presentation and smell getting us to dive in before remembering to snap ...
Cannot give this place a high enough rating. The food is lovingly made with so many awesome flavour options and the owner is so good at recommending what you're looking for. There's loads of dishes and we enjoyed it so much we went 2 days in a row. 2 very happy vegans!
I had other dishes from here and enjoyed them a lot but my memory is hazy about what I had because it was a while ago so I can’t give more details. Today I had a tandoori and shishtaouk au beurre plate with extra salad instead of rice. The whole plate was incredible and the garlic sauce really stood out but I’m not sure if it’s vegan. I also took home faux chicken nuggets, faux chicken batons and falafel and some other cooking ingredients. Always high quality and it’s nice to sit there.
Food was great with appropriate portion sizes, samosas were amazing, lots of options for vegan food, even as a non-vegan. Atmosphere was quaint, and they have a little bodega on the size. I got the General Tso's, which was alright, but I didn't have expectations for it.
Never tasted a vegan shawarma and chicken taouk this tasty in my entire life. The falafel sandwich is tasty too. The food is light and tasty. I recommend this place!Food: 5/5
Clean, friendly, good food. I had the poutine with protein 2$ extra. I would keep the default poutine with the protein. It makes a delicious tasting vegan poutine. I would prefer without he green bell peppers. Just the tuna looking protein stuff is perfect and the fresh erbs are a nice touch. Just take out the bell perppers too strong in taste and cruchyness people like myself prefer without. And keep at $7.99 price point if you can for the small. Vegetarian options: Vegan-only restaurent and to-go food options.
Great concept, cozy seating and the staff is very friendly. My family thoroughly enjoyed all of the food. Thank you!
On a short trip from NYC and I’m so happy we found this place. The food is amazing and the service is wonderful. Had the lentil soup, the shawarma plate, and the hummus. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Also, the woman working at the front who was so kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back on our next visit.Recommended dishesShawarma Plate, Vegan Food
We discovered this place after arriving on our first day from New York. We had been out all day and wanted something delicious and healthy for dinner. I’m so glad we stopped here we got the shawarma plate, lentil soup, and a side of hummus. The food was wonderful and we felt so welcome by the lovely woman who was working behind the counter. Will definitely return anytime we are in Montreal
