Shakopee Library

The library, kids play area and bathrooms are never cleaned with disinfectant products due to one employee that has issues with cleaning products. The employee works only on the upper level, no reason why kids play area on main level should not be properly cleaned. Highly recommend not letting your kids touch the toys or books at this library.

Staff is always helpful! Building is always clean and quiet. My kids love the play area just for them on the lower level.

This library is decent and most of the stuff are nice people. However, there's one librarian at the upper level who is a mean racist woman ,who harasses people like she owns that place. Terrible individual ! I hope she changes her ways or should be replaced with friendly and professional person.

Hi all - just wanted to share the kid area, since I didn't see too many photos of the space before visiting :) It's a small library, but comfortable, clean, and very friendly staff. Just a heads up, double check the hours on the day you plan to visit though, as it seems to change seasonally ~ - Katharina MOMS Club President of Shakopee and Prior Lake

I just love this library, great area for the kids. They are always helpful when looking for a book, if they don't have it they will look out of the county for it. The staff are so awesome. They also have online books for your kindle too, very easy to use. Computers to check email and research stuff. I just love coming here. You will love it too.
