Very beautiful gardens that continue along the river. All the plants and flowers have been meticulously chosen, planted, cultivated and labeled. You can enjoy a walk through the gardens and enjoy the view or sit down in the gazebo or benches by the water or trail.nnThey have built a small and cute island with 2 benches and it connects to the main gardens by a small wooden bridge.nnThe public washrooms are down the street, a few minutes walk away.
Gorgeous gardens. There is paddle boating, canoeing, plenty of picnic areas and shaded tables, a theatre and many quaint shops nearby. There is a swan and plenty of ducks. I wish it was bigger or that the flowers were more well kept but it was a lovely and peaceful place to visit! I would love to paint here.
The water in river of Shakespearean Gardens has become foul-smelling and stagnant, attracting swarms of mosquitoes.nnOtherwise, the park shines with vibrant flowers.Their beauty and variety offer a refreshing escape, making the park a worthwhile visit for nature lovers.
Quaint little garden. There's a gazebo, benches, a picnic table and a bust of Shakespeare too. Nicely shaded for those hot sticky days. A few photo spots. Sadly, some of the flowers were out of bloom. But there were nice little plaques throughout the gardens.
Shakespearen Gardens in Stratford is a must visit.Beautiful gardens with walking paths and views of the Orr Dam and Lake Victoria.Short walk from downtown.
