Absolutely horrible. Cashier has zero knowledge about what he has in store. He just bluntly answers NO for everything for the things which are actually available.nDon’t you guys wanna do business?nnHe had his headphones on and was busy chatting with someone other than helping customers in store.nnThey actually have all kind of products available but no one has any information about it. As someone who loves to cook Indian cuisine at home, finding a reliable and well-stocked Indian grocery store is like discovering treasure, and Shahi Grocery truly fits the bill.nnLocated in a convenient spot in Halifax, Shahi Grocery boasts an impressive array of Indian products that cater to every need. From aromatic spices to fresh produce, from frozen treats to a variety of flours - this store seems to have it all. The well-organized shelves and clean aisles make navigating through the store a breeze, even for someone new to Indian cooking.nnWhat truly sets Shahi Grocery apart, however, is their exceptional staff. Every employee I encountered during my visit was not only knowledgeable about the products they offered but also incredibly helpful and friendly. They were more than willing to assist me in finding specific items, explaining their uses, and even suggesting alternatives when I couldn't find a certain ingredient.nnThe store's hygiene and organization are commendable as well. The shelves are well-stocked, neatly arranged, and everything is labeled clearly, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The checkout process was efficient, and I appreciate how the staff handled everything with care, ensuring that fragile items were packaged properly.
Staff don’t know how to talk.nI have experienced this bad behaviour two times. Today I entered the shop and instead of saying “Hii” to me the guy said “Kya chahiye”“What do you need”. A communication training should be given to them.
The cashier guy is so rude and unprofessional. Yells like I am standing mile away from him. Had a worst experience.
I love this store and the employees are always so nice. I started using Dettol products the last few months and this is the only store I find that has them. I also love their website. I can see what products they have and if they are in stock or not.
